Great shop i would recommend the owner is a very nice guy and once gave me a small discount as I was £1 short hope i will go there again soon

Bought a Tamiya model but found out one of the bags inside was ripped (see image below). Upon building the car, found out that 2 nuts were missing.Called the store and the owner was very rude, saying that I must have lost them. I had to go back to the store and explain the situation again. He gave me 2 plastic ones which obviously only lasted for a few hours. Had to go back again and he gave better ones which worked.Overall it was a very poor shopping experience, he never apologized and I won’t go back again. I’ve never been treated like this before. He did mention he called the distributor last time I went, but that was too late. Why blaming the customer in the first place?Giving 2 stars because the problem was solved, otherwise it would be 1.Warning: all the boxes there are opened.

Always good to visit a bricks and mortar" model shop. Friendly owner who obviously cares a lot about the hobby. Relatively small selection on offer but some good Tamiya armour and Airfix aircraft as well as tools

This is a brilliant model shop. Lovely selection of models, paints and equipment. Owner is knowledgeable and friendly and really enjoyed having a nice chat with him today.

I went in for some help with my old tamiya lunch box shaun the owner was very helpful, I only needed a new battery but ended up buying another car ! . He also painted 2 van shells for me . Very very happy, best little independant shop around

Lovely little shop with a very nice and helpful owner. Very happy to still be able to shop in physical model shops. Do go visit if you happen to be in Newbury!

First time a visit to Newbury Models .Very informative owner with lots of advice as I am new to modelling after many years , so much has changed.Good selection of “stuff” and advice.

Get all your models and other bit from here. Very helpful as well.

Been to the shop a couple of times, a lovely little shop with a decently large range of models from several manufacturers. The owner is very informative with great advice.
