So, today I went to the KP with my Gramps who collects the newspaper daily and was allowing me to get a sweat treat. We paid the cashier with a £2 coin and she gave us £1.35 ( all good ) and I got the change and gave it to my brother and he wanted a medium slush. But the 10p coin she gave us was not correct, according to her. So she wouldn't let us buy it - with the 10p she just gave us!

A good shop with friendly and helpful staff. High quality stuff. I had a balloon out of here in mid February. It only finished going down a couple of weeks ago.

Shop seems to stock a huge variety of your stationary needs as well as toys and magazine's. The staff always seem busy but helpful. I often find something to purchase on my way to or from the post office counter inside.

Bought 3 helium balloons for my daughter's birthday. Picked up Friday 4.00pm. One already flat.Also staff are not trained in Consumer Goods Act. Shop left without contactable manager.

A gem in Wallingford! So much more than a newsagent, with amazing selections of cards, jigsaws, games, science kits and more ... staff are always friendly and helpful, even when they are clearly busy! Recommend paying them a visit!

I bought a toy that was marked at £7.95 and they charged me £12.00. When I asked, the shop assistant said that she wasn't accusing me but some people put different price labels on items hoping to pay less". I said they should really check the prices they are displaying and she replied "they can't because people like that keep trying all the time" . I felt the shop assistant was intimating that I was trying to underpay and found her demeanour very rude. On the other hand I would suggest that what is in the price tag is what you actually charge people."

Brilliant, helpful staff who keep Wallingford running through whatever life throws at them - be it newspaper blockades, global pandemics, or very grumpy customers, they always do their best for our community. Special shout out to Sarah for being the smiliest. Thanks KP!

Bought some cards in here the other day but couldn't believe how scruffy it was outside where everyone walks from the car park to the town centre.Looks like it's changed hands and the outside isn't a priority. Pity.
