Highfield School of Dancing

My daughter loves dancing here. There are exams taken and the bi-annual dance show which she loves the most!

My daughter has been dancing at Highfield since she was 4 years old and what started off as a half hour ballet lesson on a Saturday has turned into a decision to choose Dance as one of her A-level subjects. Suzanne has really nurtured Lucy's interest and passion in Dance and has been a very positive role model in her life for 12+ years now. This is a fun, local dance school and a great way for your child to make friends with others from their local community. It is a great way to develop confidence and learn perseverance, dedication and self-discipline. The girls work through the IDTA dance syllabus with regular exams to affirm their progress and put on a fantastic show at a local theatre every couple of years. Sending Lucy to Highfield was one of the best decisions we made.

My children (boy aged 4 and girl aged 5) have been attending for a while for ballet and tap. They love it - and they love the teacher, Miss Green. She’s such an experienced teacher who insists upon the highest standards. Highly recommended. I used to attend here myself as a young child, right up to leaving for university - and even as an adult (40 years on) I’ve continued dancing with her. She’s wonderful; knowledgable and inspirational.

After having a less than enjoyable experience (both myself and my daughter) at a previous dance school, we found everyone at Highfield and Miss Green in particular so welcoming and supportive. Highfield School of Dancing is an absolute gem.

My little girl recently joined this dance school and the welcoming we received was amazing! She has settled in so well she oves her classes every single week. Such a fantastic little dance school would highly recommend.

All 3 of my girls dance here the oldest has been dancing for 10 years. They absolutely love it and Miss Green pulls out all the stops to help them achieve and be the very best they can. Can't recommend or thank her enough for all she does.
