Issa and the team were incredibly helpful and efficient. They kept us well informed about the progress of our new car and were very accommodating with our change of plans. Would highly recommend this branch.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Skoda dealership, and I cannot express how impressed I am with his exceptional service. From the moment I walked in, Oliver Tickell went above and beyond to ensure a positive and seamless experience.Oliver's product knowledge was outstanding; he took the time to thoroughly explain the features of the Skoda models and patiently answered all my questions. His enthusiasm for the brand was contagious, and it made the entire car-buying process enjoyable. What truly set Oliver apart was his genuine commitment to customer satisfaction. He was not just focused on making a sale but ensuring that I found the perfect vehicle to meet my needs. His professionalism, honesty, and transparency throughout the entire process were greatly appreciated.I highly recommend reaching out to Oliver at the Skoda dealership for anyone in search of a new vehicle. His expertise, friendly demeanor, and commitment to customer satisfaction make him an invaluable asset to the dealership. Thank you, Oliver,

Left my car for repairs under warranty. Try to contact with them asking about progress 20 times no one answered the phone! Their to busy to even call back. Hopefully firs and last time with this branch! First time left car on Southend on sea they don’t have a problem to send a message about process or call if have new information. Avoid this branch!

Visited these guys on Saturday to buy a new Skoda Enyaq and what a great experience the salespeople were great we managed to do all the paperwork within the week so that when we arrived it was a seamless exchange, everyone was very friendly and had nothing but time for us Ollie and Chris were great and nothing was too much trouble even although we are 3 hours away i would use this Dealership again over my local ones, old school customer service as it used to be pre-covid. Would give more stars if we could - Keep up the great work guys.

My anticipation for a positive experience with Citygate West London as a car dealer unfortunatelly didn't materialize. Regretably, I cannot recommend them to friends or colleagues based on my post-purchase encounters. In stark contrast, my prior experience with Alan Day VW set a high standard in customer-focused service. In highlighting this discrepancy, I hope to provide potential customers with insights into my journey. For those considering Citygate West London, I recommend a thorough assessment of your expectations and, if possible, exploring alternatives that align more closely with your standards.

Just took our Enyaq into Skoda Citigate West London for a service and some repairs and the service was faultless. From two weeks before the car went in they were in touch to check and double check exactly what we thought needed to be done, the once we had dropped the car off , great communication as they assessed the work needed and informed us via emails, texts and calls, outlining what was part of the service, under warranty and what was not plus timings. Then, when we picked up the car, the person who had overseen the work - Alex in our case - came up an walked me through it all. Alex was super helpful and polite. In addition, the drop off couldn’t have been easier with someone waiting in the car park with an iPad and once we entered our number plate, up came all we had pre agreed needed doing, but a chance also for them to add anything new we wanted to add. Honestly, if Carlsberg did car servicing and returns, this is what it would look like. Outstanding. (And we love our Enyaq too).

Booked car in for tyre change under insurance policy. However, due to miscommunication and misunderstanding, Alex Bob, service advisor, struggled for a response from insurance company initially. I had to intervene and communicate with both parties for the works to eventually be carried out. The car went in at 8am and works had commenced at 5:30pm. All that hassle for a tyre change...However, looking back, Alex could've rejected the works as citygate were not one of the service providers for certain aesthetics works. It covers mechanical but not cosmetics. Therefore, kudos to Alex who pushed for the works to be completed at citygate. Thank you Alex.

We purchased a brand new Enyaq iV from Škoda West London that we were told verbally was available at short notice and was the MAXX package, great value as no longer an option, this was sat in the dock in the uk and we could have it within 2 weeks, only downside was it didn’t have the transport pack with the variable boot floor, when doing the deal they did everything as though I were buying on the internet, we thought it odd at the time but thought nothing of it, this car also had 21” wheels and the retractable tow bar which we wouldn’t have specified ourselves, as well as the panoramic roof, the roof we wanted as well as the heat pump which was also present.I ordered the car on the basis of what we had been told, only offered 2 cars and didn’t want a blue one. When we went to pick it up it hadn’t been put on charge, but as we had paperwork to fill out and I had said I would pay over the odds for the higher boot floor parts to be ordered so not a major problem. It was late afternoon so it wasn’t until the next day that we were able to see bits that were missing, I had noticed no rear seat heating option in display as well as no 360° camera, when speaking I was told no uk cars had heated rear seats, I also commented on the very harsh ride.It transpired that during its PDI check they hadn’t removed the transport blocks! These effectively stop any suspension movement whilst in transport to prevent damage on the transporter.I had to travel back to them to have this issue looked at and collect the raised boot floor parts I’d ordered. It transpired that I also needed 2 small plastic brackets that hold the new floor in place, apparently no part number? However promised something would be sorted. This didn’t happen and the sales manager is not accepting any liability, stating we got what was specified in the order, we were unaware that what we had been told was not what we were getting, this car was in the UK and had therefore been built, the odd way they did the paperwork didn’t mean much to us as they’d already stated the MAXX package was no longer an option to purchase so when the did the order on the user platform it was no surprise to us 5hey couldn’t select that pack, they did however put every other item down individually such as the tow bar, wheels etc, we had also taken out all the insurance options re wheels, tyres, bodywork and the various paint and upholstery treatments, even extended the warranty to 5 years.I’ve now had to complain to Škoda Uk as they are sticking to their line that we got what was on the order, we would never have known about this MAXX package had it not been mentioned, this they conceded but then deny any responsibility! Then as a final insult we paid almost half up front and half on finance, then on reflection I decided to pay off the finance, this was done in 2 payments dated 03/08/23 and 07/08/23 today we received a letter dated 17th saying we’d missed the first payment and were in danger of our credit score being blighted, I was completely bemused, they had a direct debit but had obviously not claimed it as it’d been paid off in full, the operator at VW finance thought my annoyance at this highly amusing and was actually laughing when I happened to mention that this letter could have been mis delivered and opened by a neighbour, they would then have thought we’d purchased a new car and couldn’t afford the payments, that was a real concern.Let’s see what, if anything, Škoda have to say about all of this. The one positive is that as a vehicle the Enyaq is a lovely car, unfortunately this one is missing a lot of what I had expected would have been on it, I’d traded our Volvo V90 inscription that was fully loaded and had expected something with a similar specification.Update on situation is that now we have had to go to the motor ombudsman as Citygate have refused to admit any wrongdoing, very sad state of affairs. The auto reply from the ombudsman after lodging the complaint has given us the case number but states there is a 6 month delay so looks like a long wait ahead!

Avoid at all costs. Their approved used cars are not serviced based on their own guidelines, so expect to be on the hook for unexpected costs.I purchased a car approved used with them, took it in for a service less than a year later to be faced with a bill of £2,500 - 25% of the cost of the car.I tried to speak to them to understand how a car they sold approved used could have gone from good brakes and pads when sold to ones which were ‘excessively worn’ after I’d driven only 3,500 miles, and why they hadn’t changed the cambelt based on the four-year service interval they list on their website.I could not get in contact with them however hard I tried, with emails and phone calls consistently going unanswered. I was eventually forced to open up a case with Skoda customer service – at which point the sales manager from Citygate told them that he’d called me and we’d agreed they were in the right – which was a lie!It would be one thing selling a car in a poor condition, but their continued avoidance of the issue, as well as being deceptive about communication between us, was not something I’ve experienced before. If you’re thinking of going approved used to avoid the hassle of buying a bad car, you’ll be very disappointed. They’re very attentive before you buy, but they’ll wipe their hands of you as soon as you’ve made the purchase.
