Leysdown Beach
Pleasant beach with sand and shells with mud closer to the sea at low tide. There are public toilets and facilities to wash the sand off your feet. For food the are plenty of places but they all sell the same thing. There is nowhere to get proper coffee just milky dirty water that they call coffee.

A very nice beach with arcades and beach shops that don't overshadow the beach itself.We walked along the beach, peaceful and very nice.A great bakers nearby to get a sandwich or pasties for lunch and a fantastic ice-cream shop, and crazy golf.

Really nice sandy beach with lots to offer for a lovely family day out. Toilets, cafes and a beach bar style restaurant are just off the beach. Then you have a promenade full of arcades and a outside play area.The photos were took just as it started to rain.

Great little beach situated near arcades, fish and chip shops etc I Take the dog there out of season. Apparently, very busy in the summer, there are a lot of caravan parks close by, so that's possibly why. Definitely recommend, though. Cute little seaside resort.

The area is ok but it needs to be tidied up a bit more. I saw a bins overflowing. The beach is a mixture of stone and sand, it doesn't look the most attractive as compared to other beaches in Kent. There are a lot of amusements in the beach front and a few food stalls selling Fish & Chips. Outdoor seating next the beach is good, with live music.There is parking area round the corner but you must make sure you don't go over time limit as there is active parking enforcement.

Beautiful beaches. Quiet and clean. The sea front cafes are way too expensive and have hot food that is cold by the time your served it and such small portions. But that's the price you pay when there isn't much choice.
