Capitol Students Discovery Heights

Discovery heights was such good value for money in Plymouth, it was clean, large living space, perfect location next to uni and Tesco express right underneath. The receptionists were great as well as maintenance, especially Tara. Common room was great felt safe at all times. Perfect choice for first year coming to Plymouth.The only thing that was the down side was the lifts often breaking, and being on the ninth floor was slightly annoying.

I've lived here for all of my uni experience - and can say it was a good choice compared to other places I've looked at! Discovery Heights has a large common room open to all residents, great building security, and great staff with an active front desk 5 days a week! E-mail response times were amazing, and most issues were solved quickly after reporting. The bedrooms and kitchen has been refurbished in the past few years, so everything feels clean and new. Also, being right next to a tesco has it's benefits; quite literally under the building and is 10ft away from the building exit! The proximity to the campus is also something to admire - most of the university buildings are viewable from your bedroom window and right across the road - great for people who like getting up late and having a short commute. Definitely reccomend living here to any student thinking of going to Plymouth University.

Brilliant place, perfect location just over the road from the uni and everything else on your doorstep, the staff are helpful and are easy to get along with.You’ve got all the facilities you need, a launderette on site, bike storage. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a place in Plymouth.

Lifts rarely worked and engineers came but never fixed it.Cleaner came once when they were supposed to come once a fortnight.

Overall a positive experience decently sized kitchen, rooms on the smaller side but you have everything you need including your own bathroom. Like any place had a few maintenance issues but mostly sorted pretty quickly

amazing accommodation, such friendly staff. Very quick and reliable when something was to go wrong. Love the regular give aways like easter eggs. the £100 free washing card was a life saver especially being a student! Would definitely recommend

Great accommodation all round. The prices for rent are extremely affordable which makes it great for students and the facilities that you get are perfect for any one. The downstairs communal area is perfect for socialising and meeting new people. The staff also organise lots of events such as circus events, music, and lots of free food. The accommodation is right around the corner from campus so it is very easy to get to lectures on time or the student Union. You are also right next to the city centre so getting to drake circus or the main town is right on your door step. The staff here are very helpful and if you ever have issues with facilities then maintenance workers are always very quick to come and fix whatever is needed. Highly recommend

Pretty good, en-suite and large desk space. Cheap but price going up next year I’ve heard. Easy access to maintenance when requested.Frequent fire alarm tests, problems with lifts occasionally.
