Dinsdales Art Supplies & Stationery

I'm not actually arty (and I think the owner can tell, but tolerates me anyway) but when I need to buy stationary for work I try, whenever possible to go here and support local.Plus the chap really knows what he is talking about and it is a very pleasant shopping experience.

When I first arrived the customer service was as bad as I have received anywhere else. It was as if the manager was going out of his way to be unhelpful, that the questions i asked were not valid (e.g. that I should already know where things are kept in the shop) and it was a chore for him to be there and to help. I remember it being similar previously. Towards the end, for whatever reason, he lightened up when I brought up the music he was playing. For the most part I found the experience pretty strange and not that pleasant. I never write these reviews but it's not actually ok, hopefully it will change next time

Stopped by to have a look around and buy a new ruler, as well as some baggies for organising my board games.It's a nice little store with a lot of stock. The person behind the counter was also friendly and helpful. While I didn't buy much, I'll definitely be returning if I need any art supplies or stationery in the future.

A bit out of the way but they have great art supplies at a reasonable price. The staff are very helpful.

Lovely little art shop tucked away in Headingley… I was in search of printing paper and quite a specific compass and was provided with honest guidance from the helpful shop owner. Will definitely be back as shopping for art supplies IRL is a much better experience and would 100% recommend dropping by

Have only just discovered this place was here! Will always go here from now on for any supplies I need. Especially since supporting local is very important to keep them alive. Great little shop with lots of stock

Great little art shop with a good variety of quality materials, from paper, brushes, paints, inks to painting by numbers sets for beginners....Be brave everyone, shop local and support the treasured little gem of an art shop ✨️
