I would not trust a word that this branch tells you. We put an offer in on an empty house and i made it quite clear that we wanted the house no matter what. I was told and promised that if anyone showed any interest in the house that we would be the first to hear back. We then went on holiday for 2 weeks and half way through the holiday i get a phone call to be told that the house has been sold. Apparently because it was in the sellers best interest. What happened to PROMISE.
