I recently had Chris look at my fairly old bike which had been left out in all weathers, & although working, I did not feel safe riding it. Chris gave it a look over, all work was quoted for, so I knew what needed doing & how much it would be. The bike was collected promptly & a timeline for the work given. The bike was returned to me promptly too. Very happy & feel safe riding it again. I shall definitely ask Chris to do more work on the bike for me in the future. Highly recommended.

Outstanding service and a great price. Chris visited my property (observing the necessary social distancing measures) stripped down the derailleur, carried out repairs as required and got me back on the road. Throughout the process he kept me informed on what he was doing and what caused the various issues. I will be using Suffolk Cycle Works again.

Fast, brilliant service. Well priced and friendly. I'm only visiting the area and needed a quick job doing. Short term fix sorted with good advice to get a further replacement sorted long term. If I lived close by I'd get the full job done with Suffolk cycle works.

Just used Chris for the first time to do a service on my bike. All communication, collection of the bike, and subsequent return were all very straightforward and punctual. The quality of the service of the bike is fantastic. No issues whatsoever. Would absolutely use again.

Chris serviced 3 bikes for me last summer - he came to my house, asked what I wanted looked at in particular (one needed wheels trueing), checked all 3 over, told me what they needed in addition (one needed a new chain). He arranged to pick them up, one or two at a time, so that I wasn't left without anything to ride. He did everything agreed, for a price I was very happy with and there were no surprises (other than the fact that there were no surprises)Recently I bought a trike for my daughter, which she absolutely loves - it's the first bike she's been able to ride herself. The only disappointment was that it came with a brake lever seemingly designed for giants. I emailed Chris again to ask him for a price to supply/fit something more appropriate. I sent him a couple of pics of the trike and brake lever. He replied within hours, on a Sunday morning, quoting a price I was happy with, but noting that the brake lever is adjustable and that I might want to try that first - he even edited a picture and sent it back, highlighting the screw that needed adjusting. Someone else might have taken my money and not mentioned that. Sure enough, the adjustment worked, my daughter can now use the brakes, and I'm sending Chris the price he quoted, and this review, as a thank you for putting customer service before profits.Cheers Chris!

I'm really happy with the full service and repair - My cyclocross bike came back to me spotless and in perfect working order with a few things I hadn't even mentioned to him fixed. As he let me know what did need repairing (drive train, brakes) there was no nasty surprises price-wise and it worked out the best value service I've had!I was also advised a couple of areas to keep an eye on (Tyres, wheel rims and chain) as these might need replacing in future...he didn't just replace them for the sake of it which gave me confidence.All in all a great professional service with helpful friendly communication. I will definitely use again.

I found Chris through a google search for a service of my heavily used bike, I’m so glad I did. 1st-the service was super responsive to my needs and wants, I needed it for the 12th and It’s all done today the 9th. 2nd-very transparent with fees, never got any surprises and 3rd quality of work, I went to a local reputable bike shop and never got the outcome I expected, I’ve got that and more with Suffolk cycle works. 1000% recommend and will use Chris for a very long time now.

Having not given our bicycles too much TLC over the years we decided to get them serviced by Chris. The service was very thorough indeed (far exceeded our expectations) and Chris took time to explain what he was doing and also what to look out for in the future. A clean up at the end was the icing on the cake and the bikes look like new. Transparent and fair pricing. We took them out for a spin today and were amazed at the improvements. Everything seemed silky smooth rather than clunky. We felt Chris really cared about the result and took great pride with his work. Would 100% recommend and will certainly use again.
