Fantastic garage!Been using these since at least 2007.Very Knowledgeable friendly staff.Good prices.One of the few places l trust 100%If your looking for a trustworthy garage look no further.Also they are very efficient too, no waiting days and days, I've had people l consider friends take up to 6 months to diagnose & repair My cars in the past so I'm often surprised when l get a call same day to say it's ready.Give them a try.I bet you love it.

I had been quoted nearly £200 for an oil change and MOT by another garage and knew this was way too much. Chelmer Auto Repair were recommended to me by a few people who had been ripped off at other garages in Chelmsford and found these guys to be well priced with great service.I booked in for an MOT and interim service (including oil change, oil, and filter) for £99. Jenna was lovely on the phone and answered my questions before booking me in. Got a slot on a Saturday which was great!Guys in the garage on the day were lovely and helpful. Explained results of MOT and answered my questions. When giving back my keys they gave me some disinfectant wipes to wipe down my steering wheel, gear stick and hand brake. They had also put a little LED torch on my car keys which was a lovely touch!Really happy and highly recommend.

I needed to get my air conditioning fixed before going on holiday and they fitted me in on the same day. Service was great, very friendly and even gave me a little led torch which my kid loved. Really good service will definitely use them again if I need more work done.

Helpful staff. Seems to of done a good job. Wheels didn't fall off when drove away so .....

Had a service and MOT (2nd time using this garage), kept me informed all day, had an unexpected problem when I came to pick the car up. They dealt with it as soon as they could, would definitely use them again.

I have been a customer of CARS for the last 8 years for my 3 cars, including a classic Rover P5B. Can't speak highly enough of these people. Always willing to discuss and explain in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. Their rates are reasonable for good work.

Was in a fix as my car had an broken down in the area. Spoke to the receptionist who from the first sentence I could tell that this person (Jen) really cared. Her knowledge and advice was excellent. The garage looked at my car straight away and diagnosed the issue. Brilliant communication and in this day and age the sort of customer care that is hard to find. If I lived the area this would definitely be my garage of choice.

Totally satisfied customer. I took my car for MOT and interim service for £99. At first I couldn't believe it as I've had problems with honesty when it comes to other garages, but C.A.R.S did the job very professionally and within 3hrs my car was good to go. Absolutely super service! Receptionist experienced, knowledgeable and highly professional. Friendly and excellent service from all involved. Car wing mirror mended and MOT certificate completed in record time. Communications excellent as receptionist ‘phoned to check specific requirements, ‘phoned again when knew estimated costs to check if acceptable and phoned again to let me know when car was ready to pick up. Cost very fair and reasonable. Would thoroughly recommend this company without any reservations.John Messer
