Build 4 Space have just completed a single storey extension on our house and I can’t recommend them highly enough. From their first class customer care to their service delivery reaching the highest of standards, I honestly can’t fault them.Eddie has continuously provided us with the highest level of customer service, constantly keeping me in the loop.Build 4 Space has an abundance of skills and knowledge amongst their team and helped guide us through the project ensuring every decision was in our best interestThe whole team were polite, tidy and hardworking, even our neighbours commented on this!Everyone warned me to expect the project to cost more than we expected and take longer than estimated, however that definitely wasn’t the case with Build 4 Space. They completed the whole project early, even though we added on a re-make of our porch and a whole surrounding patio. They also kept me updated at all points and asked permission before making any decisions that could potentially affect the budget.I was so worried about choosing a building company due to the infamous ‘cowboy builders’ we’ve all heard about, but I can safely and honestly say I couldn’t have chosen a better company.

Our project was a single story wrap around extension, a detailed schedule of work is given just prior to the work comencing and every step of the build is discussed as you go along.Our project took 5 months and this didn’t slip from the agreed schedule, there is always a worker on site even on quiet days.Build4Space also has an excellent team of tradesman to call upon for bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, tilers, decorators, carpentry & joiners, roofers, glaziers and renderers who are all of exceptional quality as well.The quality of work is excellent and the whole team take an enormous amount of pride in their work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eddie and his fantastic team.

We are so delighted (and very lucky) that we chose Build 4 Space for our project: a complete renovation-rebuild of our house.The project included a double storey back and side extension, a single storey side extension, remodelling of all the layout, new plumbing, electricity and underfloor heating, and renovation throughout.A really sizable project that required top quality craftmanship, effective deployment of resources, and a collaborative relationship with all parties involved.They have been excellent throughout our project, we cannot praise them enough!We selected Build4Space through a very diligent process taking into account recommendations/word of mouth, prior works viewing, and pricing. They provided very competitive pricing and all else considered they were our best option.Eddie and his team have been really great to work with, Eddie was great at project managing, and they kept within the timescale despite unexpected material delays.Moreover, and most importantly, despite the significant increase in material prices they honoured their quote fully. That goes to show the ethos of the Team.They are very professional, hardworking, honest, polite and also respectful of the neighbours. Our neighbours actually recognized this in many occasions, sharing with us compliments about not only their work ethic but also the quality of their work.We had excellent communication throughout the project and worked very well together to deal with the changes and adjustments we made during the progress of the project, Eddie spent time to make sure everything was as we wanted.The quality of their work is of a very high standard, as the team includes some excellent tradesmen, they take great pride in the work and they work with their customers to achieve the best result!We love our new home and we are really very grateful to Eddie and the Build4Space team! Build 4 Space completed a large scale renovation on our house (ground floor rear extension, internal moving of rooms including kitchen, stripped and fitted new roof, created dormer and two new 1st floor bedrooms, two new bathrooms, storage room). They finished within the project timescale, to a high standard, and were a pleasure to have onsite. The manager and his team genuinely care about the quality of their work, and always put us as the customer first. So happy with the result and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for builders in Hertfordshire.
