Stirling Taxis

Not dependable. Just cancelled our pre-booked taxi for my daughter and us to get to her 6th birthday. No apology just can't be bothered organising something booked a day in advance apparently. The one job they have is to turn up on time and this is apparently too hard. Get an Uber if you can.

Booked a taxi using their app, the taxi went to the wrong address and charged me a £5 no show fee. So far they have refused to refund this fee.

I had booked a taxi with them from Edinburgh airport for 2pm pick up, taxi never showed up. When I called them, some lady spoke very rudely to me and said the driver was waiting from 1.30 and since I didn’t get in touch with them, he left. I got out of the airport by 2.10 pm and looked for the taxi everywhere and when I couldn’t find it, I called them around 2.30pm, that’s when she told me that the driver had left and told me to book another taxi which wouldn’t pick me up for another one and a half hour and I had to pay for it again and also I wouldn’t get a refund for my previous booking which never showed up. I will be registering a complaint against Stirling taxis. I had over 50 kgs of luggage on me which I had to carry all by myself in a tram, train and a taxi. As a student I hadn’t come on a very heavy budget, and to pay 70 pounds twice for the same taxi wouldn’t have been very ideal for me. I had booked meet and greet taxi at the Edinburgh airport, my flight landed at 1.15 pm, I had booked the taxi for 2pm because I didn’t know how long the immigration process would take. The taxi driver arrived before the booking time and left before I got out of the airport, I wouldn’t recommend booking Stirling taxis to anyone I know, especially to students who coming from a different country.

Sorry to post this review as in the past I always used this firm. This morning a pre booked taxi for 4.15 am to take me to the airport (time critical ) was going to be 50 minutes late . No one called to warn me so when I eventually got a straight answer had to make an unplanned stressful emergency drive to the airport . The ‘despatcher’ was rude and unhelpful , and claimed to be someone he was not . Not sure what is going wrong here but it’s the third problem I’ve had recently with an airport taxi from Stirling taxis . I won’t use them again.

Booked the evening before for a 6.10am taxi and it never showed up. Triple checked my booking and I booked it correctly. I will miss my train to get to the airport. Tried to call an operator, nobody picked up. Do with that what you will.

Ordered a taxi on a quiet Saturday morning and took 15 minutes, which was not an issue as we were in a Cafe. We saw it approach and immediately set out to meet it only to see it fail to stop and immediately drive away again. On phoning back was told they phoned and got no response as we walked to meet it. They said they don't wait even for a disabled person?? The option was to wait 30 minutes or walk up to the rank some distance up the road. If this is a Stirling gold standard service, I'm fortunate we were only staying the one night!

Pre-booked taxi to pick up at 11.45pm, got a message to say driver on way then about two minutes later got another message to say booking had been cancelled (obviously got a better fare) so left in limbo, no other taxis available. Shocking service. Never had this problem before but won't be using again.

Do not use this Taxi company or app. Their app showed an error on payment so I paid in cash. 3 days later the payment was withdrawn from my account. I have contacted them several times with zero response.

This company cancelled our taxi 5 minutes before it was due despite booking 13 hours in advance. They claimed they were not insured to pick up in clackmannshire despite accepting the booking earlier the day prior.
