Very good staff

I would highly recommend this care home. The rooms are not plush - none of them I think are en-suite - but the care is excellent. Most of the staff have been there for years (decades in several cases) and there are a handful of astonishing volunteers additionally. The management is excellent. My mum was there for four years - initially with some dementia and later with greater physical frailty. Nothing in this world is perfect, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marston Court to anyone looking for residential care (it's not a nursing home).

I have just started visiting Marston Court with my Pets As Therapy dog. I am so impressed with the staff and how they treat the residents there. They have activities arranged every day some of which include outings out but they make sure everyone is included. On our first visit they had a ventriloquist there and staff were on hand to support if needed but also they danced with them and encouraged participation. The staff i have met are very friendly and all seem to enjoy their work. The atmosphere was amazing and it was very heart warming to see how much care takes place there. The residents are definitely at the centre of importance of what happens.Feel very proud to be part of such a lovely place!
