Brought 2 baby guniea pigs from them. The poor things are riddled with lice and ring worm. 3 months on and a few hundreds of pounds in vet bills, I still can't hold the guniea pigs to tame them. I thought this was a nice place but would strongly recommend avoiding them.

How they can have so many torts crammed into a vivarium is beyond me and to be put quite bluntly, is disgusting. You can see them all crammed onto of each other to the edge of the vivarium in desperarion for more space.Advised to feed them pellets and spinach, (these species dont eat spinach as it's high in protein, they need low protein high fibre!) Your pet store" should be reported and who ever works to keep and sell these in such conditions with terrible care advice aught to be sacked!"

Great selection of animals and staff so knowledgable! I bought a conure parrot from here and they really know their stuff. I’ve also had rabbits too and they’ve always been healthy and happy. LOTS of accessories for various animals always get my fish food from here. Cannot thank them enough! Great store well done guys :)

If I could rate zero stars for this place I really would. Went in today to buy some pet treats, 3 cashiers behind the till in Brunos pet area having private conversations and didn't even acknowledge me at the rill or even say anything when I was paying... so rude. Went to the toilets and they were dirty and smelled so bad. Animals cages all looked dirty and the birds all looked sad. Shame really this place has gone right downhill. Won't be visiting again. Ran by disinterested kids...

I went into Bruno’s pet store a few years ago and saw some things that I don’t really agree with and I came back yesterday and now I’ve built up the courage to say something. There is a lot of misinformation given at Bruno’s similar with a lot of pet shops. There are glass cages filled with a variety of rodents. These cages themselves are not allowing enough ventilation for the rodents that are prone to respiratory issues. The chances of them getting respiratory issues will also be upped by the excessive use of sawdust. One cage has three Syrian hamsters inside and it’s to my knowledge that that’s an unsuitable amount of hamsters in one cage as they will harm each other when the time comes. However it is the opposite with the mice and rats. There are alone rats and mice of different genders. One of the mice looked concerning to me as he had a hunched posture and his fur looked ruffled. This is a sign of some sort of illness. The rats seemed extremely small for the fact they were being sold as well as the mice. The rodents being alone shows uneducated people that they can just purchase one rodent alone. As well as this the cages in the pet shop are not large enough for the pets it says it can hold. It confused me that the larger rabbit were outside in the cold compared to the ones that were indoors if both are being sold. Additionally, it may be helpful for people purchasing the tortoise to know that they are best kept in singles instead of pairs.

Would put 0 stars if it was an option. Brought a turtle set up and 2 turtles. To later find out the light sold is wrong its only a uv light not a uv/heat basking lamp, the lamp housing is wrong, they are for frogs not turtles. The two turtles species are not meant to mix, so they are not compatible and one was bullying the other. They told us to only feed them blood worms every other day, when meant to eat live food daily and calcium for their shells. We went to a reptile shop and they was so shocked. Took one turtle back and got a musk, the set up we've corrected else where with reptile specialist help and now have happy turtles. I don't recommend anyone buying a set up here, they are more clueless than us newbies.

Very friendly helpful staff. Supplies are awesome. Great variety of habitats. Very good at explaining the types of hamsters they have. They have very clean habitats for each animal. More than happy to go that extra mile in helping me choose a Syrian hamster. They allowed me to pay for my hamster and to collect a few days later, because I wanted to get my habitat ready first before my hamster could come home. The staff was very understanding about this. They sell good variety of substrates .

Went in today to get some parrot food. There was one poor parrot away from all the rest his nails were so long they were curling round we informed one of the staff who assured us they would be trimmed asap... I sure hope they were. Not a great advert for your pet store or staff poor bird.
