Friendly staff and good cocktails

Fantastic venue, had a lot of time and effort spent on it recently to update it. Loads of TV's to watch the football. Pool tables, snooker, darts, kids facilities and plenty of seating area. Very friendly staff. Ideal for us before SUFC match days and a great pint of Guinness. Can't rate it and recommend it highly enough.

Only the fact I have to give a star is the only reason for one!Had the misfortune to attend a family party held here. You can expect to be met by a downstairs room which looks to be decorated by a smack rat wannabe dj vibe from the late eighties. If you need the female facilities, you can play worst toilet roulette and only pray and hope out of the three, you get the one with no lock. It beat hands down the one with no seat and the bargain basement blocked one which from 7pm to midnight wasn’t addressed.You might think a drink from the ‘bar’ will help block out the misery of the place but you firstly get the pleasure of being greeted by lil miss attitude and her side kick, I don’t know what drinks we have and I don’t know the difference between them.Be very clear what you order because there’s no guarantee what you’ll actually get is what you order and when they make the mistake, you’ll be held accountable at your own cost. Lil miss attitude didn’t give a hoot that her ‘staff’ don’t have the ability to understand rum and southern comfort are not the same thing. At the end of the evening a great grandmother in her 70’s was told to down her drink in one by the delightful ‘security’ staff so they could get anyone left into their car park before then turning off all of the outdoor lights as everyone was stood waiting for taxis. This was a mixture of infants to the elderly!The only laughable point is the no drugs signs on the toilet doors because you’d need drugs to get through an evening in this sh!thole.If you’re looking for a venue to hold a family celebration please have it anywhere but don’t have it here!

Went to a mates 70th birthday bash and had a really good time though non alcoholic beer wasn't available for car drivers. Plenty of parking available and a couple of hardworking bar staff thrown in for good measure. I'd recommend for Weddings, 21sts and meetings though the the Gents toilets could do with a lick of paint and a general spruce up. Can't comment on the Ladies.

Played cricket good game v cents our hosts.Went in the bar after, looked great, clearly had a refurbishment. Looks far more attractive for families.

We had our wedding reception in the function room here at the end of April and we were extremely happy with everything - couldn't fault it. The room looks amazing all lit up and it's much more interesting looking and fun than most function rooms you would get in sports/transport clubs in Sheffield - the drinks were inexpensive- the house DJ was fantastic and played the kind of music I asked for - they put on a buffet for us and it was lovely. The staff were wonderful and the whole experience was great and hassle free. Loved it and thanks again to all - we had an amazing time!

Visited for a football match. The pitch is terrible. Never went inside so could be better there but definitely not great for football. Saw a small astro turf pitch for little ones but not big enough for a match unfortunately.
