The Cycling Seamstress | The Cycling Seamstress based in Hurstbourne Tarrant, Andover offers a bespoke service. Maria will also undertake alterations or remodelling of your favourite garments, Soft furnishings, clothing alterations. Fancy dress and accessories are also undertaken. Group and individual sewing tution is also available with lessons tailored to what the client wishes to learn, from beginners to advanced. Mens tailoring and alterations are welcome.

Checked before leaving off a new organic cotton top that Marie had an overlock to use shortening the sleeves. She confirmed she had. The pictures of the returned garment show poorest workmanship, and that no overlock was used. No small courtesy of an apology even. It does not surprise me that her expensive repairs are charged for in advance.

Maria did an excellent job of altering my wedding dress for me last summer. I had a last minute panic that it wasn't going to fit and thought I'd have to buy a whole new dress. Maria calmed me down and reassured me that she'd be able to alter it for me. She did a great job and it fitted beautifully. She was so kind and friendly on each visit and her prices are very reasonable.

I have had several dresses and a pair of trousers modified by Maria, and each time the communication and workmanship were fantastic! I would absolutely recommend her without any hesitation!
