Nice traditional pub with wood and coal burning in the stove, and a couple of ales to choose from. New manager it seems with relevant trade background with enthusiasm to provide a decent drink (and food?) venue.

Warm and friendly atmosphere in the heart of the community. Located as near as it possibly cold be to local bus and train, and a stones throw from the canal towpath.First time I’ve been in tonight in all the time I’ve lived here and intend to return as soon as possible.Great local pub.
