Got a wonderful evening with friends at this brand new Chinese restaurant. All the dishes were amazing! Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Thanks for adding such a little gem to the neighborhood.

We’ve ordered dinner from Tofu on many occasions and had a lovely time eating at the new Forest Hill branch for the first time this week. The food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere, even on a Wednesday night!

Tofu East Asian Canteen-Forest Hill
A fantastic addition to Forest Hill’s restaurant offering - incredibly kind, speedy and accommodating service from the waitresses when we visited this evening. The menu has a good variety of classic Chinese and some Japanese dishes - those we tried were very tasty and great value for money considering the generous portion sizes. I also got a very reasonably priced pot of tea which would be more than enough for two people and came in a beautifully decorated tea pot.The only downside is that the restaurant was quiet when we visited on a Wednesday evening - I really hope that people come out and give this new restaurant a try as it’s definitely worth the trip!

We had such a great lunch, really fresh, delicious food. Helpful and friendly staff. We can highly recommend the stuffed aubergine and the salt and pepper king prawns.

A lovely new addition to Forest Hill. The Cantonese style pork belly was a dream… soft with a crispy crackling. Yummy dumplings and very large tempura prawns. A wonderful relaxing atmosphere, very clean and really friendly owners. All round great first experience eating at Tofu.

This is an excellent addition to the restaurants of Forest Hill. It’s opposite Bona, and has been refurbished to a really high standard. The food was very good. Tasty gyoza, really nice pork buns and all the other dishes we had were delicious. Our usual Chinese choice locally is 148 Chinese in East Dulwich, but I don’t think we’ll need to bother with that any more. Tofu was absolutely packed just two weeks after launch, which is an encouraging sign. They’re also offering 10% discount as an opening deal, off the already excellent (for 2023) prices.

Enjoyed the new Tofu restaurant in Forest Hill and it was delicious. Dim Sum, Pork Belly, Chicken Katsu Curry, Lamb with Ginger & Spring Onion, Beansprouts and Rice. Fast, friendly service, great atmosphere, fabulous surroundings.
