Nice venue. Good selection of beers including non-alcohol. Staff friendly. Reasonably priced and large outside seating area. Just had snacks to eat. Came quickly. Tater tots definitely worth trying.

Tater tots weren’t cooked. Solid in the middle (could’ve still been frozen lol). Sent it back and went for chips instead which staff sorted out very quickly for us. Good beers and nice seating out front. Portions very small on the chips served with burgers.

Always pleasant atmosphere and dog friendly is always a plus. Good burger & very nice house slaw. But this time the frozen chips disappointed me quite a lot. Not sure if overly fried or reheated but were harder like stones.

Had a day off from work so had a trip over to media city fancied something to eat & drink and their it was the place that I was going to have my lunch in . The Dockyard . As an Industrial feel to it with an old school look when it comes to the the chairs / wooden tools .this is a great place very spacious inside but also outside in them summer months just people watching or if your lucky the odd celebrity walking bythe prices are not bad remember you are in media city so expect to pay about 5 pound for a drink. I did have a bite to eat and opted for the Dockyard Club bit like a ( BLT ) you get it with fries .But have to say I was disappointed . I paid 11 pound for my lunch but I found it had very little taste and the biggest disappointment was the cheap bread they used ( Try Warburtos ). Bit of a let down when the meal was nothing special needs work . but over all the staff are friendly and welcoming and it's in a great location with a good choice of drinks. will I go back absolutely for drinks not for the food sadly. but I had a great Afternoon its a wonderful place to stop At . Thanks to the staff for being so welcoming.

The Dockyard
Pros: A great selection of beers - with a large array of constantly rotating guest ales on pump. Unfortunately they don't get many barrels for each guest beer, meaning sometimes you find an amazing brew which isn't available when you return the next week (or next day). They usually also have a fair few 'steady' tap beers, including Doom Bar, Dockyard Ale and Dockyard Lager - plus the usual assortment of lagers, ciders, spirits and soft drinks. Some great regional craft beers in cans as well, though they're not cheap.Cons: In the summer months, at its peak the queue is out the door! But usually you can get served within seconds. It can get pretty loud inside when it's busy, so sit at one of the many outdoor tables if you want to chat in peace.A decent, gastropub-style food menu is an added benefit if you're peckish at lunchtime. Don't forget your table number if you're ordering food.

Nice pub with cool atmosphere. Food was average, I don’t recommend fish and chips as it tasted oily but the other dishes were ok. There was no service at the table and it was inconvenient to always go to bar to order.

Superb range of beers and great cozy atmosphere. The specialist small batch beers are superb and plenty of choice. If you're unsure of one you can have a taste first.Definitely worth a visit.

We visited the Dockyard whilst up in Manchester for a football match. Its a really nice pub situated right by the BBC studios in media city, there was a good mixture of home and away fans that made for a pleasant atmosphere. The doorstaff were all very friendly as were the bar staff.A great selection on tap and getting served wasn't too much of a chore as they had plenty of staff behind the bar.
