Beautiful huge trees, very quiet and peaceful

I love these woods and the nature too its a peaceful walk and love meeting different people and seeing different wildlife too

Pond needs a clear up but a lovely unexpected walk.

Orton Longueville woods are a hidden gem in urban Peterborough.The old forest walk pond is at the end of a nice walk through the woodland trust owned wood.The pond is nice enough and a good place to find newts by all accounts but it does have a lot of rubbish in it.The woods are stunning however. They are not huge but the avenue of Wellingtonia (redwoods) is amazing. It makes a nice walk.I've lived in Peterborough for a long time, walked over the road at Orton staunch for years and often drink at the Ramblewood Inn but never knew the place existed and lots of locals I've mentioned it to didn't either.A lovely hidden gem.There's no car park so please be considerate of the neighbours if you've driven there.

Good for walking, nice relaxing place.
