We had to return (under warranty) a pair of binoculars purchased from Camarthen Cameras due to an isue with an eyepiece. They returned them to the manufacturer and, after a phone call, chased up the case. We were delighted to receive a well packed, new replacement pair in the post. Well done CC and Barr & Stroud!

Celestron NexYZ Smartphone AdapterMy recent dealings with Carmarthen Cameras has been nothing short of exceptional. Having purchased the item it unfortunately arrived damaged, there was no way the business, without opening the product prior to dispatch could have known this. From here on in is where their excellent customer service excels and shines through.My query was dealt with by Tim, Tim responded immediately to my issue and after a couple of personalised emails (not your usual robotic emails that you tend to receive from larger companies) a replacement product was sent and I was provided with the simple means and method to return the damaged product.My dealings with Tim highlights that not only is he a true gentleman but Carmarthen Cameras operates with true honesty and integrity that can easily be lost in todays business. I should know given I manage a Shopping Centre, so full credit to Tim and Carmarthen Cameras!

Frustrated is an understatement. I HAVE CALLED, AND MESSAGED, AND TEXTED, AND CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES AND ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. POOR POOR POOR.After several days of leaving messages without any response at all, I left this feedback and within the hour I was asked to remove my comments as these comments apparently affect business. May I ask how it is that you did not have time to respond to my numerous messages, sent over several days, yet had time to check your reviews and email me almost immediately after I’d left negative comments? As a professional photographer, and my business was reliant on your ability to provide an efficient service. What I wrote in my review was an accurate description. There were no lies, or exaggerations. I was ignored over several days, and no one contacted me within 24, or 48, or even 60 hours. In fact no one contacted me at all. Even if I’d receive a courtesy email to tell me you had received my messages that would have sufficed.

They send you faulty or damaged items on eBay. When you complain they are very slow to sort out your problems then they block you. Should have left negative feedback on eBay but I chose not to. I spend a lot of money on the type of equipment they sell and have purchased many many items from all the other major retailers and they are all excellent. Only ever had a problem with this seller. So good luck continuing your business with this attitude it will be your downfall in the end. Ask me you’re better off buying elsewhere where you are appreciated and respected!
