Now closed. Always had a massive selection but as with these things, so many things that people are not after or can get cheaper elsewhere. But it was a major supplier to local artists.

Now that Ruddocks has closed it will be missed. Spent a lot of time and money in there over the years with my daughter browsing/purchasing art materials.Thanks for the years of service.

Miss this place. I used to visit twice a week for my periodicals, just as an excuse to poke around the stationery, art supplies and toys. And to see the lovely staff, of course!

Ruddocks is a wonderful old style department store that stocks almost everything you might need. Unfortunately its time has come and this weekend will be its last. A great Lincoln institution, and one of the reasons we decided to move to this city is closing its doors. We've just been in, and did feel a little sad on our way out that it would be the last time we'd visit.Sad to see it go, best toy shop in town, there isn't anywhere left that's pleasant to browse for birthday gifts (and myself!)
