Wax and Beans - Bury’s record and coffee shop | Located in the heart of Bury town centre, Wax and Beans is Bury’s only independent vinyl record shop. Situated in a Grade II listed building, Wax and Beans sells new and second hand / pre loved 7" singles, LPs and box sets, as well as coffee, tea, soft drinks, cake, chocolate and fruit.

Absolutely love this place. Wonderful staff, food cooked to perfection and vinyl everywhere. If you want fast food go elsewhere, you want fantastic food... Stop and linger. Chat, relax, contemplate, ground and rejuvenate yourself.

Great atmosphere. Staff are so lovely, whether you're having a coffee or looking for music. Great place to spend an hour looking through second hand (or brand new) vinyl. Breakfast was great - cakes are always fresh. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. And there's a dog! What more do you need?

05/02/23: full English breakfast was great. Someone left half of theirs because she was too full. It wasn't me or Archie! Good tunes on the deck, brilliant atmosphere and the usual friendly staff [photo update]27/10/22: only popped in for a quick coffee. We had a Coconut mocha, light flaked with rich dark chocolate and an Americano. Dog friendly, very accommodating and as we glanced the breakfast menu, it looked reasonably prices and will be on our future list of places to return to. Wax and Beans was not what we expected and surprised we'd not been to before. Vinyl record/Music shop/Coffee shop, in a Grade II listed building. Also has a great website explaining that all the pre-loved vinyl is available to play on the turntable, through headphones, a try-before-you-buy.

We stayed in the room above this ace little cafe. The room was spotless. The aesthetic is so funky and fits so well with the area. Ben and the team are so welcoming and friendly. Recommend suite dreams and wax and beans!

Fantastic cafe and vinyl store...what a great combination... right in the centre of Bury...if you visit the market go here for breakfast or lunch. Very friendly, welcoming staff... quick service and great menu with specials. Best of all gluten free breakfast...all from local produce from the market...superb. Vegetarian and vegan breakfast also available. New favourite place... forgot to mention great coffee.

Lovely quirky coffee house with a great menu. Relaxed atmosphere and very spacious. Great funky decor, spacious seating areas. Rustic charm about the place and polite staff. Clean spaces. Access door for disabled persons. Highly recommend this place. Adjacent to the mill gate shopping centre.
