Traditional pub with great selection of ales. Also has a few ciders on as well as some weird and wonderful cans in a fridge. Recently given a lick of paint this place if fast becoming my favourite pub in Derbyshire (which is saying something given the competition) well worth a visit to see if you agree.

Just been in again for a couple of pints. Fantastic beer selection and really reasonable prices. Warm, clean and comfortable. Great place to drink. Owners always behind the bar which is great to see as this gives a good idea of the commitment to the business. Well done

One of my go-to places for real ale over decades. Never visited enough to be a local, but it's always friendly if you choose to chat. Beer range is great and always well kept. Dog friendly. Very small car park ... 3 cars? ... but easy to park nearby. Basic bar snacks.

Lovely, cosy & welcoming atmosphere. Friendly locals & a very personable bartender. I was pleasantly surprised with the Malbec served to me, as not all Real Ale pubs have a decent selection of wines, in my experience, but I was pleasantly surprised with the red wine that I ordered. This pub is only a two minute walk from where I live & I will 100% be visiting more often. The prices are reasonable, too!
