Handy place to go with family or friends to get shopping. Good alternative range of shops and close to centre. Handy for mobility scooters , shame the parking costs have increased. Used tocget three hours free, now only one hour. Not enough time for a brew and chat....

It needs more big name shops it's a shame marks and spencer went and Debenhams it's not going to bring people into Stockton-on-Tees knocking down castlegate centre

Clean and not too busy. We went to visit a travel agent there but noted a good selection of shops generally. Parking is free for an hour and £1 50 for up to three.

Pleasant with quite a few shops, reasonably flat, games on the pavements for children to play. Free parking for the first hour and plenty of cafes.

Wellington Square Shopping Centre
This is one of the most important mosques in the town of Stockton, frequented by many Muslims. It has a center for teaching and memorizing honorable readers. I recommend that every Muslim in the town go to it.

I enjoy a shop here, not everyone would agree but there’s plenty of shops, plenty of places for a cup of tea and food and good parking too

I was looking for some nice shops but certainly will not be visiting Central Stockton-on-Tees for shopping again. We were less than 20 minutes out of the car. Poor shop choice and facilities, although I was impressed with the size of the christmas tree, and the big wheel looked fun. There was also free face painting, and painted activities on the ground for children so may be fun for the little ones but not for adult shopping.The parking wasn't the best either.. all machines not working. The first hour was free though and luckily the bollard opened when I got to it.

It says a great deal about the popularity of a place when it is only being used because 30 % of all the shops in Stockton high street are closed.Dying god rest it's soul sadly since the corruption in our council allowed the Castlegate centre to be built Stockton no longer has a soul.Wellington square has the Works and that's all I visit for now although I even prefer Middlesbrough and Darlington branches.I think we should just put Stockton out of its misery.If Stockton was a race horse they'd humanely put the screens round and put the poor beast out of its misery and I am proud of being a smoggy

There is only one thing that's good about it. The bakery and fruit and vegetables shop.They need a lot more shops for people to coming back.
