Canton Garden Chinese Takeaway

Good little Chinese takeaway.The front of house looked to be clean and tidy which is always a good Start.The lady who took my order and served me was polite which is something of a novelty in modern times.The food itself was well prepared, served well for a takeaway and even though I had a 10 minute drive home had retained a good amount of heat.The batter on the sweet and sour chicken balls was cooked to perfection. The beef and green peppers in black bean sauce was very tasty if a little to salty for my liking (but no complaints). The crispy shredded chilli beef was slightly lacking in batter although other chineses you get the batter but they forget the beef (so again no complaints).Having tried a decent amount of different places over the years some of which I wouldn't return to it makes a refreshing change to say I would visit here again.I refuse to hand out 5 star reviews from this day forward based on a quest for everything being perfect in relation to places I visit and spend money. This place based on this visit is well worthy of 4 stars from me.

Great tasting food with an excellent home delivery service

I've only ordered from here twice but it's definitely somewhere I would return to. Great value for money. Good size portions. I had two requests with my order and, even though they hadn't done it before and advised it might taste weird, they were happy to make my request and it was great. Service is always very polite. Definitely my favourite take away

Today (21/8/21) we ordered a meal to be delivered to Norwood Farm campsite, Langwith. We were told delivery would be 40 mins, the driver (nice chap) arrived almost 40 mins on the dot! The food was hot and delicious!Easy to order, great delivery, terrific food!

Outstanding! The best Chinese takeaway I've had in years! Chicken curry was beautiful, chicken fried rice was cooked to perfection and their chicken chow mein is excellent too! :)

Used this place a lot now over the past few months and I really love this place.Great customer service and the food is really good. I feel the service is above and beyond. You get a large bag of crackers with your food and it is really nice I have ordered a number of different things such as duck with pancakes, mini spring rolls and chips and king prawn balls. And no problems with any of it. The balls are like all battered things from a Chinese but all depends on how you feel about that.Overall the service is incredible and the food is really well prepared with time and care. Highly recommend.

Ordered for the first time. The lady who took the order was very kind and nice to talk to. Food was ready when arrived for collection and the portion sizes are good. Worth every penny, highly recommended.Thank you for the nice dinner. Will definitely return

Excellent food always delivered on time and more often than not early so very and extremely satisfied

Food is delivered on time, hot, tasty, and good quality. Shop staff take the time to make sure my dietary requirements are catered for and that my order is correct.Menu is comprehensive and includes plenty of vegetarian/vegan options.Delivery staff are pleasant and polite.I've tried most Chinese takeaways in the area to find one I like, and Canton Garden is my favourite.
