Kate Rostance - Wedding & Funeral Celebrant

Kate prepared and delivered a truly fitting celebration for my wife Gail. Having met the family for an hour or so and armed with a few of my notes she produced a wonderful tribute. Everyone attending the funeral commented without exception that the tribute was just right and what Gail would have wanted.

Kate was absolutely brilliant, for an occasion where there are never the right words, Kate somehow managed to find them. She captured the true essence of our dad in beautiful words, and made an extremely difficult situation easier.Kate managed to get the balance between a professional yet personal service absolutely spot on. We can’t thank her enough.

A huge thank you, Kate, from all of us for putting together and delivering such a lovely celebration of Andy's life on Friday.You listened so carefully to what we said so we definitely recognised Andy from your words. I too loved that people were able to laugh as well as to cry.We appreciate how you accommodated the other contributions so skillfully as well as how you created such a lovely atmosphere.We have had nothing but praise for the celebration both from people who were there and who watched the live link.

Kate was the celebrant for our amazing Dad’s funeral. Kate: you did the most AMAZING job and I don’t know how you do it. What a special gift. You were the best woman for the job and Dad would have loved you. So many people said how special the service was and how ‘dad’ it was. You got it so right. Thank you, thank you. I would wholeheartedly recommend Kate as a celebrant. I am so grateful that she was the celebrant at a our family funeral, from the start she was empathetic and guided us into providing the right stories and information for her to be able to write an amazing celebration of life. I am in awe at how she managed to take everything we told her and make it into a coherent whole. I felt she really 'got' the deceased and many people commented afterwards about how beautiful and moving the ceremony had been.

We weren't sure if we needed a celebrant but from the moment we met Kate she made the whole process easier by giving good advice and ensuring everything was organised.Our dad passed away and we had the difficult task of arranging the funeral. Kate took the time to get to know all of the immediate family and listened to all we had to say about our dad and then in her unique way was able to filter out the pertinent points to lead a beautiful service that was a tribute to our lovely dad.As a family we have received so many compliments about Kate's service and her ability to blend our Sikh beliefs with stories about his life was heartwarming.If you are thinking about wether you need Kate I can honestly say it was the best decision we made and we can't thank her enough.

Kate is a lovely, warm and friendly person and from the moment that we met her she put us completely at ease. After just a couple of meetings getting to know us she drew up the most fabulous ceremony which barely needed any amendments as she had managed to capture just what we were hoping to achieve. The result was a very personal and special ceremony and we cannot thank Kate enough for being such a big part of our special day. Our wedding took place in our garden and Kate took the aftermath of storm Betty and a rather steep yomp up the side of a mountain as part of the ceremony in her stride. We cannot recommend Kate highly enough as a wedding celebrant and we wish her well.

I found Kate late in the day but how glad I am that she agreed to be the Celebrant at my partner's funeral. Kate visited our home and spent time talking about Pam, what kind of person she was, and what she and the family would like to celebrate her life. I found Kate to be a warm,friendly and understanding person. The service she delivered was all we could have hoped for. Kate's contribution was universally praised by the many people that attended. Thanks to Kate it was more a celebration of Pam's life than a funeral. I can't thank her enough.

I cannot praise Kate enough, felt totally at ease with her right from the initial telephone conversation during such a difficult & emotional time.She liaised with the funeral directors to ensure everything was as requested and arrived early at the crematorium to do last minute checks, nothing was too much trouble for her.The ceremony reflected mum perfectly and was beautifully presented.A very fitting goodbye and a big THANK YOU from myself and all the family, who all commented on what a beautiful ceremony it was. Mum would’ve have approved of, and liked Kate.I would certainly call on Kate’s services again, whether it be for a funeral or weddingHighly recommend her!
