Halfords Autocentre Glasgow (Rutherglen Rd)

Avoid at all costs!! I have been using this garage for years and was a loyal customer. However, at most most recent visit they tried to rip me off by telling me I needed brake drums and cylinders replaced, when they had told me two weeks previously I only needed brake shoes. They also tried to charge me £60 more than they quoted two weeks prior after seemingly being unable to find the original quote. I am massively unhappy about this and will not be returning under any circumstances. Be warned!

I do not recommend this garage to anyone. Changed the engine oil. What it was black, and remained black. I asked the guys to show me the old oil, but they refused to do so. I wanted to see how they change the oil, but they forbade me to go into the garage. I have a feeling that they do not change the oil at all and deceive people. It felt like they didn't even change the oil filter but just cleaned it to make it look like new. The senior garage foreman is a very rude person. He deceived me by saying that he sent an invoice to my email, but I never received an invoice. All in all, I would not recommend this garage.

Staff were so helpful when I needed a new window wiper for my car and very quick with changing. Also, I joined the motoring club and saved £5 just by signing up. Well done, you guys

Shame I can't give zero or minus stars.I booked my car in for an MOT only to be turned away as it was double booked and they had system issues.Booked again and car still hadn't got on the bay due to some issue or another.Car failed MOT (surprise surprise!)I then chased for repair costs3 days of chasing later was quoted over £500Took the car away got repairs done elsewhere for a fraction (25%) of the price quoted.Booked car again for retest, guess what! No booking was on the system.I am a premium motoring club member but will not be renewing my membership next year.No communication, over priced, under delivered.Honourable mention to Martin's garage just of Duke St and Cambus MOT in Tollcross for completing the work at extreme short notice

Everything about cycles is under one roof. Accessories, bags, tyres and helmet. Even some car parts are there. Also they provide services and components as well.

this is my last time as a customer here. My MOT failed because of this (see photo):Driver's view of the road through the swept area of the windscreen significantly affected by an obstruction objects hanging from rear view mirror (3.1 (a) (ii))the guy there told me this is the law. Probably i am illegal for the last 25 years.Avoid this garage.

Excellent customers service , staff members are really helpful and friendly .The technicians are really professional and friendly too.The Waiting room is alright, u can sit and help your self with hot drinks , tea , coffee , hot chocolate etc. they got this really fancy futuristic coffee machine .lolOver all its a very good reliable , professional Auto center that I would trust

One of the worst Garage every .. ****Avoid****I have given my bmw for 10 point car check and literally it ended up with scratches on the car.Graeme was literally arguing saying it is not the new one ..

Once a great place for most motoring things you needed. Totally overpriced stock and staff that ignore you, has chased away customers. The picture was taken at 1pm on a Saturday - usually a busy time. Boxes of stock around some passageways, but a Stereo wall with a lot of empty holes. The website was a shambles. Searching will give you maybe one result whereas a Google search of Halfords will generate more. If you can't order from any other online store, then if you've time to wait - you'll probably get it here. £38 for a wiper blade? Don't think so!
