Coin Wash Laundrette and Drycleaning

Came across this place as I was looking for an affordable laundrette, it’s a nice family business. I’ve been coming here for a few months now. The instructions for the machines are pretty straightforward so I haven’t had any issues.I prefer to come in when staff are in the office as I use their detergent, both the husband and his wife are very nice and helpful so it doesn’t matter which day you choose to go in.I’ve also tailored a few trousers here and they did a good job :)

Unfortunately closest to my home. Disgusting, not many of the machines work which means you have to wait for ages with the other victims.. dryers are littered with melted clothing and buttons, machines don’t spin properly and clothes come out soaking.. Woman is rude and gets way to close and up in your face. Saying my money looks fake. TERRIBLE place! AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Steals your money and after 50 min of use does not even dry clothes. Daylight robbery

Very good experience, the machines are old but work perfectly well. The place is managed by a very sweet and helpful couple. I am surprised by the bad reviews, I’m not sure what people are expecting from a laundrette.

Experience is very positive the laundromat is run by an old couple, I must admit a bit they are a bit odd but very helpful and location wise it’s perfect.

This is a self-coined laundry place.It runs every Monday through Sunday for 7pm to 9pm.It also went into operation on January 1.Everything was convenient to use here.However, because there is no coin changer, you must prepare coins and buy laundry detergent from vending machine, but you must prepare 70pence coins. If 70pce is not ready for coins, it cannot be used. You can't use a pound coin even if you have one.In addition, if you are going to use this Laundromat for the first time, you should read the instructions carefully.You should not concern about putting coins in a payment machine to use the washing machine. After you put the coin in, it will work automatically in 15 seconds.So before you insert the coin, first decide how to use it and then at the end, insert the coin.You can use this place well enough if you read the instructions first.

Lovely experience. The elderly gentleman was very helpful. He guided us through the instructions and the coin changing.Machines may be old..but worked perfectly!

Coin machine doesn’t work properly, it takes your money, and simply doesn’t work! Staff doesn’t care! Useless cctv. Not recommended!!!

There is a lady working there in the mornings and she is very helpful and kind.It is £5 to wash clothes (£1 soap included or you can bring your own soap) and £4 to dry them.We are on holiday in the UK and found the service excellent.

I am most unfortunately a regular of this laundromat.I can confirm that the owners are rude. The woman won’t leave you alone when you are doing your laundry. She is also very aggressive, loud and a bit of a personal space invader. The man usually ignores you and I prefer when he is there to be honest. I can actually just get on with it.I have lost money in the first dryer before and basically gave up on trying to get it back because the owners are difficult.. Same story as an earlier comment where halfway through I noticed that the dryer wasn’t heating up.Also you should know that the dryers are SUPER HOT.The place looks like a kids “school project” with some knobs in the dryers being made of tin foil or lip balm container lids.It’s also fairly disgusting and doesn’t look like the floor has been washed in ages. So don’t drop your knickers ladies.
