Glide 'n' Slide LTD

I bought two pairs of skis from Glide & Slide and sent them to my home in California. The prices were great with end season discount & VAT refund due to export. While their service was even greater. The shop manager Martyn is a great guy yet an expert on skis, he answered all my questions very professionally and always in timely manner, often I received a reply to my email within the same day! He guided me all the way through the export process and made it very easy. I would say in some way, even easier than my online shopping within the US. I received the skis in perfect condition, and this was such a pleasant shopping experience. I will surely come back if I need other items and will recommend Martyn & his shop to my friends without second thought.

I have a Morton's neuroma and bony spur on my left foot and assumed that I would always have pain in my foot when I skied as I always have done, despite attempts to mould boots around my foot. A colleague recommended Glide 'n' Slide and I got fitted with fantastic boots. It's the first time ever that I've managed to keep a left boot on all day without having to remove it due to pain. I highly recommend Glide 'n' Slide.

I finally made the decision to get my own boots and the experience couldn't have been better. Fraser did my boot fitting and he was very knowledgeable with what I needed and spent over an hour moulding the boot to get the perfect fit. I subsequently went back to get my skis sorted for my trip and again these were expertly done. Highly recommend anyone to use Glide n Slide

The friendly team at Glide and Slide couldn’t have been more helpful today. We went to get a helmet for my son who wears a Bone anchored hearing aid and also has autism and ADHD. He is going on his first ski trip with school in a few weeks and after a lesson at Xscape yesterday we realised that the helmet situation was going to be a problem.They were able to advise and let him try every helmet suitable and even suggested an external company that could help with a custom made helmet that would meet my sons needs. We managed to find the correct helmet for him using his hearing aid in a slightly different way but we felt this was the best solutions and they really were great with their advice and patience.

Thank you so much for looking after us during our visit at the weekend. With the skis and boots we purchased we are looking forward to hitting the slopesEvery staff member we talked to in your shop were very professional and knowledgeable about the products, I know that doesn’t happen by accident, they are a credit to you.Your shop is a long way from our home but is well worth the miles.

What an outstanding service. I am so glad we chose Glide 'n' Slide to help find our first ski boots. Having had enough of hiring ill fitting boots we were recommended this outlet and we were not disappointed. Very knowledgeable and friendly team who took great care in finding the right boot for my wife and I. It is clear they want the best firbthere customers and it doesn't necessarily mean the most expensive. Would highly recommend them. Customers for life.

Just got back from a visit to glide and slide. I've been skiing for a number of years and always struggled with rental boots. Within 10 minutes of being in the store they had assessed the problem and solved the issue. Got a pair of boots which the custom fitted to my feet and they feel brilliant. Can't wait to get them out on the slopes.I only wish I'd given them a visit a few years ago!What a lovely bunch of knowledgeable and skilled staff. Particular shout out to Mark who really listened to all my ski boot woes and took time to figure out how to fix the issue. Will be back again for sure.
