I ordered Quesadilla and choosed “Large” option. However, more than half of the tortilla was empty. It was the smallest portion of quesadilla I have ever seen in my life. I returned it to counter and asked if it was a large quesadilla. And they said yes it is. I had to return it and the staff at the counter instead of trying to make it up for me he refunded me.

The tablets took out a human and customer service aspect completely... While the food was nice the black beans were still hard and ruined the meal for me... Really nice drink and the flavours of the food were good but I won't be eating from here again unfortunately it lacked the human touch and I'm not willing to get sick from raw beans...

Delicious food, I love the Cali! Didn't provide a rating for the atmosphere though as it's not an 'eat in' establishment that provides any, but that's not a criticism, I loved it and will certainly return!

It's a fast food Mexican outlet selling your standard fayre. You order on a row of big screens and have to pay with card as cash is not taken. Your order is displayed on a big screen divided into those orders being prepared and those ready. As an order can take 20 minutes it's vest to grab a table nearby and watch the big screen. The food was okay. The bottles of coke were quite expensive.

Avoid this place at all costs, unless you want severe food poisoning! My 22-month old daughter, husband and I visited this place on Saturday late afternoon. We ordered a kids burrito meal and chicken quesadilla and have all spent the entire week so far suffering from food poisoning.This is not an isolated incident. Having spoken to a few other friends who have also visited El Mexicana on separate non-related occasions, they told us that their families had suffered from food poisoning too.If I can help to prevent even one other person from suffering the terrible ordeal that we went through, that would be the only positive from this experience.P.s. if you still want to take the risk, the food is bland, under-filled and grossly underwhelming anyway. Good luck.

I just ordered my lunch here. I waited about 30 minutes as the order got lost on the system (need to probably check that out) as I got my food the order was completely wrong but I was hungry and didn’t want to waste more time sending it back, I took a bite and realised the chicken wasn’t cooked! Do not eat here waste of time and money. Sort it out.

ordered a veggie burrito and a pulled pork one. the veggie burrito had MEAT in it mostly at the very bottom of the burrito. my partner, who has been a vegetarian for YEARS, started eating it as it was supposed to be veggie then noticed the meat inside half way through. Also no dip for the churros we ordered. Only got a measly refund of £6. Very disappointed and not acceptable.

Absolutely shocking ordered my food then it says it's out for delivery then very very last minute say it's been cancelled because they didn't have drivers to deliver my food but yet it said there out delivering it never ordering from here again put me off

Used to be good but gone down hill. XL Burrito wasn’t big at all and smaller than I’ve had before - wouldn’t want to know how small the standard is now!Wasn’t given enough meat, burrito was mostly made up of the rice, dry as they didn’t put a lot of sauce in (also paid extra for medium sauce) and the beans were still quite hard. Disappointing, especially as I used to like it here.
