Lovely site, pitches have plenty of space. Local pub and cafe next to site worth visiting. Great walks to Bury and Summerseat. And the steam train is definitely to be experienced next time.

Really nice caravan site close to Manchester. Good facilities and friendly and welcoming staff. There are two pubs close by as well as a café and an ice cream parlour. Loads of lovely dog walks as well. This was my second stay and I'm sure I'll be back again

Burrs Country Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite
Lovely campsite with great facilities and right beside the East Lancashire Railway line. Every other train that passed was a steam train. The line runs between Rawtenstall and Heywood and you can buy a Day Rover ticket that allows you to get on and off anywhere along the line.The campsite staff are very helpful and the pitches are well spaced out. We would go back again if we were in the area.

What is not to like about a caravan site right next to a heritage train line? The country park is also a pleasant place to walk, and the local pubs and cafes are great too. The caravan park is immaculate as always with lovely clean amenities. This is our 7th visit in 4 years, I think that says it all?

Lovely site clean and tidy plenty to do. Walk into Bury or Burrs Park Pub right next to site entrance. Jersey Girls five minute walk. At weekends East Lancs Railway line is right on the edge of the site so steam trains passing by.

Great base for visiting Manchester. £5 in an Elton cab to Bury Interchange. £4.90 return on the Metro. Site to City centre is about 45mins.

Beautiful campsite which is well maintained and immaculately clean. Located a stones throw away from Bury Town centre, but it's set in a country park, meaning you could be a million miles away. Very quiet during the day and in particular at night. Would definitely visit again.

Great location this caravan park so peaceful nice to see steam trains passing my only complaint would be that the time of wash room showers get cleaned would be better cleaned between 8am to 9am busiest time 10.30 to 11.30 there out action not good this is popular time to shower but there out of bounds the price you pay to stay should reflect on facilities please bear this in mind apart from that lovely site .
