Absolutely loved it. Only complaint is that it's so pretty I wanted to stay longer. Lol. Staff were nice, professional but took a joke. Nice way to see the Tyne.

Loved the crossing, spot on time both ways too. Only downside was parking at S Shields. We parked at The Word where restrictions were for 3 hours only, though it was free. It meant we had to cut our visit short on this occasion so we didn't get a parking ticket. When we got back we drove around the area and everywhere we found was 3 hours max parking. Not great signage to the ferry either for anyone not familiar with the area.

Fantastic service and so enjoyable to do, quick dash across the water have a walk about get some chips jump back on. Great to do anytime.

It's quite regular, takes less than 5 minutes to go from one side to the other and is a pleasure, if you like a little boat trip. Public toilets on the north side, near to the bus stop as there is none on the ferry.

The most reliable public transport in South Shields, I have been using it for 18 months a regular basis and I have seen it out of service twice in that time

Took my little boy on the ferry today as he really likes boats. The staff were so friendly and chatted with my son which made his day. Great service! Staff to be proud of!

Crossing was good enjoyed sitting on the ferry watching ships and tugs going up river to Newcastle
