Arrived wondering if i had overstretched my capabilities having no background knowledge. Now nearing the end of the course I feel I have a thorough basic understanding of most aspects of Upvc door and window repairs to start my journey.This is due to the excellent training delivered by Alan, which was never an issue if we had to go over areas several times before I understood.Highly recommended course and was worth me travelling all the way from the North East to attend.

Excellent Training course.All aspects of repairing double glazed units and door including tilt and turn and patio doors were covered thoroughly and extensively with hands on experience.The tutor Alan was very knowledgeable and as well as training on all the practical aspects gave advice on tools to buy and not to buy .with a very extensive last day on marketing tips for setting up on your own if thats the way you are going.the free toolbag with all the tools to get started was a definite plus as well.

I recently attended the double glazing repair course and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course was well structured, and the facilities and level of teaching were top notch.Decent lunches, plus tea and coffee were provided throughout the day along with other refreshments. The atmosphere was very relaxed and Alan the instructor was happy to help and answer any questions we had and provide additional advice where required.I really enjoyed the practical side of things, and it was good getting to try the various techniques on different types and sizes of doors and windows. The day we spent on the tilt and turn window was particularly good and I now feel confident to work on these whereas in the past I would have likely walked away from them.If you need somewhere to stay, I would recommend the Premier inn. The price is reasonable, the rooms are good and its only a 5 minute drive to the training centre.All in all, I really enjoyed the week spent on the course and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Very good, comprehesive 'hands on' window/door repair course. This course is not like other Upvc Window/Door repair courses. Tilt and Turn is covered, patio doors, hingles, best repair kits to buy, what stock to carry on van ETC. 'Hands on' practice carrying out many very common and sometimes uncommon repair jobs, that a lot of other Trades People may walk away from, are covered on this course ! I attended this course which was over a week. I found the tuition excellent both technically and in practice with well explained instruction.The instructor was friendly, informative and offered an enormous amount of experience that can only be gained over along period of time.I would recommend this course to anybody who is serious about a new work skill.Franklin Adshead course of August 2022.

I attended this course and found it amazing. It was so informatiive and Alan was a very good teacher and instructor. My boss found it easy to book and Alan was professional from start to finish. An amazing course and great experience. Well worth doing. Thank you Alan.
