Scudamore's Quayside Punting Station
This was a really fun experience. We went here on a sunny Sunday, and had a great time. We went on one with a tour guide, who was also navigating the boat. I’d recommend this option as it’s much less stressful and gives you a chance to relax. That said, some people prefer to try navigating their own boats. The tour was very interesting and it was great to see all the different sites around Cambridge. It was moderately priced I’d say, and more expensive than the other nearby places (although the boats here looked nicer) the boats themselves are also pretty comfortable.

A lot of fun, very relaxing, but quite pricey. If you can find a friend with university connections it will save you a bundle and then you can try for yourself. It's not hard if you have surfed or SUPped before.

Bit pricey but definitely a great way to see some of the most beautiful parts of Cambridge.The tour covers a fair few of the Cambridge colleges and lasts about 50 minutes.Tour guides are super friendly and knowledgeable. We asked questions as we went and they answered them with no problems at all!Good fun, would recommend!

We have had a wonderful time with Scudamore's Punting Tour in Cambridge. We were immediately welcomed at arrival. We were in advance for a private booked tour. They managed very kindly to find a boat and guide so that we didn't have to wait. Our punter / guide was very friendly aswell with lots of humor. We sat comfortably in the punt and had nothing else to do than to relax and enjoy. And we really did.I encountered a little problem with my booking. They fixed it all during our tour.Just fantastic !

Relaxing...The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly to us. They provided not only the boat and tour guide, but also blanket and hot water bag to keep us warm throughout the entire journey.The journey is around 40-45 minutes. We went thru 9 bridges and by 8 Cambridge colleges. The tour guide, or the punter, provided very informative facts about the different colleges, and many interesting history and stories of the Cambridge University, we were never get bored.

Had a lovely Hen Do private tour which was so much fun! Alec our host was fab even though we didn’t need much of a tour! Highly recommend the private tours as getting your own boat is definitely worth the extra money. Will definitely be back!!

Scudamore's Quayside Punting Station
Decided to take my wife out to Cambridge for a punt down the Cam. We were not disappointed! The trip took about 45 minutes as you go up the river seeing the different architecture and the different colleges that together make up Cambridge University. The whole time the friendly knowledgeable punter was giving us a lot of information about what we saw as well as general trivia and facts from the history of this world leading University. I highly recommend you take a punt!

Fabulous experience. My suggestion to a local Cambridge friend to take a punt tour on the Cam River. Joseph our punter was so incredibly informative and friendly. Pointed out all the bridges and buildings and gave in-depth historical information on each. My Cambridge friend was delighted that she came with me!

I know some say its pricey but worth it especially on a lovely day. Our guy was a university student called Dom. Lovely bloke gave us a lot of knowledge of Cambridge and answered questions. Would definitely use this company again!
