Harveys Towans Car Park
This was our first point of call after our journey from Yorkshire for our holiday in this area. We arrived at 6.30pm and its free parking after 5pm. We parked up and walked down onto the beach. Go to the immediate left and that is the smallest incline to the beach. Further along it gets steeper. The tide was out when we arrived and walked along towards the right. The sand is soft with very few stones and is very wide to allow plenty of people to get a place to set up. The sunset was great. We had walked back up to the top by the carpark and sat on edge to watch the sunset. Looking forward to going during the day.

Beautiful spot if you want to enjoy a lunch or late diner al fresco with a view in your car! Free parking from 5 to 9pm!You can access the beach on the sides and it's so peaceful/beautiful!We enjoyed a beautiful Sunset last night ♥️

Huge trenches/potholes in the road leading up to it AND within the car park itself. A complete money grab with no thought or care for the car park itself. This was free for so long before, what a complete use of greed. They’ve slabbed some wooden beams in the ground and are claiming it to be a proper car park now, but don’t bother fixing the ground around and in it, say goodbye to your car exterior as it hits Australia with how deep the holes are. Awful stuff yet again from greedy people

Payment is a little bit sketchy if you have mo signal as its only card payment only.Great for watching the sunset though and seems a lot of people do it.

The location in itself is great but the ground and pot holes are just horrendous. The new parking charge system has gone live. It’s a reasonable price but surely you can’t be charging for something that doesn’t even seem to be maintained. The car park used to be free, was one of the good ones left. Such a shame.

Car park with stunning beach view. Beach is awesome especially when tide is out. Reasonably easy access to beach for able bodied. Car park requires paybyphone app.
