Well maintained site as you would expect, very tidy and good recycling. Toilets were cleaned regularly but are in need of some TLC, it’s never nice when the toilets smell of urine just after they have been cleaning. The shower pressure was ok but overall for the money this is a site I would not stay at again.

Lovely clean site. Pleasant views and easy access from the pitches to toilets and other facilities. There are some lovely little ponds with a maintained path around them which takes you through some beautifully wild areas. Close to Asbourne town centre and other local attractions in the area. Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet site and close to amenities. Site managers do need to check vacating pitches as ours smelled strongly of dog urine and rotten dog food. No remedy was offered other than moving to another pitch (which was not do-able due to recent illness). Luckily, after heavy rain during the night the smell wasn't as bad. Maybe some kind of disinfecting system should be adopted in cases like this.

Friendly staff. Clean site and pitches good. Shame about toilet block, nowhere to have a wash in a private cubicle. Showers need updating and lack of them doesn't help in busy periods, only 3 showers for ladies, 3 for gents then 2 extras at end of building which are only open at weekends. Although they are cleaned the shower curtains and work surfaces need replacing, past their sell by date. Laundry facilities good with washing machines, tumble drier, ironing facilities with a rotary line too. Washing up facilities only 4 sinks which is inadequate for the size of site. Water is just about warm enough but powered by solar power, so you expect a little difference.Nice dog walking facilities.Good area for children to play in the field away from camping areas, which has football net and play area... lots of room for them all to play.Croissants and coffee available at weekends in the hut. Fish and chip van on a Sunday evening.

Pros= Spacious. Family friendly, lovely layout and peaceful area. Lovely.staff. // cons = Men's showers are poor, Domestic Washing machine/dryer are suitable for a 2 bedroom flat. (Not a 76+ pitch family clubsite)

Great location, and fantastic walks from site. But, shower block definitely needs updating, also the tumble dryer didn't seem to dry? Very helpful and friendly staff. Great play area for the kids.

Great dog walking areas. Pitch had lovely views over fields. Some road noise. Shower block needed repair, roof tiles missing inside and shower curtains needed washing/changing.No security gate and no codes on toilet/shower block.

Nice location, friendly staff, lovely to walk your dog on site but what I didn't really like was the fact the reception shop was only open for one hour in the late afternoon. Also having the pleasure of emptying the toilet cassette regularly I couldn't help noticing the water pressure for rinsing was very poor and if you are unlucky to do it in the dark you would need to bring a torch as there was no lighting either. Others then that the Campsite was tidy and the pitches were generous. And having horses close to the dog walking area was a bonus.
