Very poor Customer Service, same standard as we receive in IndiaVery slow to respond and will ignore us at all times, despite noticing us at the window. Never reccomend to open an account with Bank of India.I have closed my account with Bank

It is really encouraging to bank with Bank Of India when you have Brnach Manager like Mr. MAHAPATRA . He is very professional and provides an efficient service. His knowledge on all their products scores top marks and I cannot thank him enough! Leicester Branch has lots of Changes after his joining.

Closing my account down!After years of banking this account will be closed down. I will be taking then to the financial ombudsman after they lost a cheque of mine that was deposited in my account. The cashier hasn't attached that cheque to my account, but yet it has been taken from my account! In over to years of my banking life I have never experienced such a ridiculous thing! I a have been sent round in circles for the last month! Embarrassing and a disgrace. Avoid this bank at all costs. they will rob you of your money!

Just on the phone to them. I asked to transfer the a sum from one of BOI Branches but they want me to open an account. Every step is a manual process.They do not provide this facility at all. I do not mind doing it.A safety deposit box - they are reluctant to open one for me ( as live two hrs away). They do not want anybody with this profile. And quite condescending to potential new customer who is a female.

Customer service don’t exists, staff have no manners or work ethics, treat & talk to customers like stray dog. Worry some as no security guard at the door so anyone can walk in.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother who has a bank account with the BOI branch in Leicester. She was served today by a member of staff named Amit Kothari and she said the service provided by him was excellent, he was very polite and attentive.

Extremely archaic service, everything must in paper form and triplicate…BoI staff needs to take some lessons from other Major UK based banks on computerised processing and customer services a MUST!!

Walk in and straight away you get those vibes you get in india that hit you, very lazy calm and and dont give two s$@ts about customer service, the amount of signtures we had to do just to close an account, we almost forgot our own signiture, thought we were closing a swiss bank account, the amount of time it took, never again, please avoid like the plague
