TELDOC - Oakengates Medical Practice

Teldoc, the system used to try to stop people accessing healthcare. Staff are rude and treat patients like they are an inconvenience. Little to no chance of a face to face appointment. GP's ask no questions regarding symptoms, and for anything which needs to be seen just ask you to send a photo. Communication is poor with letters from the hospital to the practice being overlooked etc. After six months of putting off going to the doctor I had no choice. The doctor did not ask any questions about my symptoms (which included some heavy bleeding) and just wrote a prescription for a number of products which I later found out from another doctor, I didn't even need and weren't going to help the problem I had! Teldoc managed to waste my time and money and thank goodness their misdiagnosis didn't result in anything serious.

My wife had a blood test advised to phone Dr for result . No appointment for 2 weeks and this appointment would be via phone . Waited all day nothing . Phoned surgery no record of appointment ,we'll call you back, no call back . (Teldoc Not fit for purpose )

Called on Wednesday 15th to book a blood test appointment I was told that there was an appointment available at Madeley on the 17th at 08.30. My partner called on the 16th to double check the appointment time and place and was and was told it was the 17th at Madeley. When I turned up for the appointment I was told that no appointment had been made and that the nurse was not in all week. The receptionist then told me that the appointment had been made for the 24th despite phoning and double checking the date and time. Thanks for the inconvenience.

My much loved sister who's got a autoimmune illness has had terrible service from Teldoc. It doesn't matter how early she phones she is waiting an unacceptable time to get through to them , only then to be told there are no appointments. This is a serious illness and she should have been a PRIORITY PATIENT. I am glad to say she's now got another doctor. In our opinion these doctors should be inspected by medical ombudsman and my sister is not well enough so I will be doing this along with telling our MP her experience. I would suggest anyone who has a choice SHOULD STAY WELL CLEAR OF TELDOC

Had a back injury and went here, wasn’t even x-rayed and now has taken 2 years to get a scan! They just pump you full of painkillers and send you on your way! Prescriptions are always signed late leaving you with no medication and the receptionist thinks she’s a brain surgeon because she works within healthcare!

Went make an appointment but was told by the Bouncer on the reception Desk to phone after 10am as most people have given up trying by then

So difficult to get an appointment. Awful booking appointment system hang on the phone for ages and then hear no appointments available.

Try and get an appointment to see A doctor any doctor? More chance of talking to Elvis!I would love to sit down with those who make policy and ask them why do we have to phone up at 8am when thousands of others are trying to do the same?I never seen my new doctor since I was registered with thim over 18 months ago! I cannot get an appointment... pathetic!

How is this place still allowed to be open....wife put her repeat in asked fir paper script as we where going on holiday and she can get it at pharnacy there cant even get that right when i say EVERY month they screw her repeat up i mean 100% everytime its wrong by farrrr worst drs in shropshire possible even the world absolutly shocking!!
