This wonderful traditional pub serves great food in a warm and welcoming setting. It's been years since our last visit, which is a shame; we must visit more often.Roast meals were tasty and well presented. The deserts were equally deserving of praise.A great local venue.

We really enjoyed an excellent meal. The menu was extensive and varied. Prices have increased since our last visit (haven't every venue). It was a week day lunch time so was quiet hence not possible to rate atmosphere but I get impression it would be buzzing at weekends. Dog friendly and good level access to car park.

The pub is set in a beautiful location among the rolling hills of Shropshire not too far from Carding Mill valley. So a great spot to go after a hard day's walking in the hills.The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The roast beef dinner was amazing. As were the vegetarian options also. Hats off to the chef. Great atmosphere and pricing isn't too bad.They also have a nice little play area for the children.Would recommend people to try for themselves.

Friendly staff, atmosphere 6/10 at time I felt it was too dry for me example no music in the background, food presentation 5/10 definitely can be improved, taste of the product 5/10 again the chief needs to experiment beyond local community knowledge, value for money 8/10 , this pub is nice friendly family focus / multi cultural environment. I felt welcome as I was the only Asian within range I guess who visited the amazing place definitely worth trying out , there is a epic walking place as it national in heritage park

I Stopped in on the way home from work tonight for drink and an ended up staying for dinner.. really friendly place. Great Menu and amazing Staff.. Felt very welcome and also Massive Thank you to the Chef Annie you cooked the most delicious Chicken burger! Definitely Will be Returning ☺️

Very attractive pub from the outside which prompted us to turn around and drive into the ample car park.On entering the pub it was modern and clean.We were greeted by a charming and friendly young man that showed us to a table and took our orders.The food arrived in a very reasonable time and was very tasty, hot and well presented.If I could find a minor fault in my selfish opinion, they didn't have any real types of ale, only light lager type beers were available. However they were served fresh and cold and a very welcomed refreshment.This is a great pub and if I lived closer it would be a regular place I would visit for food and drinks.

A really lovely pub. A very old, thatched building and sympathetically decorated inside. The bit by the fire" is exceptionally cosy.Lovely beer garden to the rear
