Ordered a cab for 5am in advance and paid for it at the time of booking. 5am there was no sign of a cab. I called Camcab at 5:02 and automated message told me the cab was 9 minutes away. The driver didn’t pick up the phone. I called again at 6:07 and the message was that the driver was 7 minutes away. The driver did pick up the phone this time and said that he was given the job while dropping off another person. I missed a train. The cab arrived 12 minutes late. The driver was really nice. I made the next train. Very stressful.Not the first time I had problems with booking with Camcab either. Never again.

I've used this taxi service a few times to go back and forth to Cambridge North Station. Very convenient online booking and loving the tracker, which also gives the car license, colour and model. The drivers are always prompt, polite and helpful. The cars have been comfortable, clean and in good condition. Nothing but positive experiences, which is just what you need coming home after a long day. Hope they keep up the good work.

I pre booked a taxi and they just never showed up. 15 minutes after it was due I got a message saying driver was on the way but by that point I'd missed my coach. The phone operator was sweet and apologetic when I cancelled the taxi but that didn't help me catch my coach! Wouldn't use camcab for anything where you need to be on time, like for flights

They are pretty good in terms of their commitment and time. What they really miss is they don’t send any message to the traveler to identify the cab unless you call them to seek details. Their phone customer service is good and quick but not being able to track your cab without asking them is a hassle.

Do not use this taxi service. We ordered a taxi well in advance for a wedding. The taxi didn't show up after half an hour and we had to call the company several times. The phone operator gave us misinformation about how long the taxi would be. One of the times we did call, we were on hold for 10 minutes and put through to the driver who spoke rudely to us and then hung up. We gave up and got an uber in the end and were really late. Truly shocking service.

I booked a taxi for 1:30am and received a phone call at 1:26 saying my driver was no longer available due to an emergency. I can appreciate some drivers may need to leave for family emergencies but I was not allocated a new taxi. I was told they would send the next available driver if one popped up but one never became available nor did I get a call back. I had to use the taxi company Panthers which were brilliant and very reliable

Shocking company. Had a taxi prebooked for a certain time. After 10 mins I called their useless automated service to find that I hadn’t even been allocated a driver yet. Half hour later I finally get a driver. I’ve now missed my coach to the airport and have to fork out for additonal travel! Furious isn’t the word

Pre booked 2 hours ahead and had to pre pay as using the website. Tracked taxi when a few minutes late, then tracking stopped and I got a cancelled message! They then kept the money! Had to ring up for 3-5 day refund and no apology!

Pick up from whittlesford Station to Melbourn, was dubious arranged via website chat on train from Tottenham hale, kings Cross line stuffed due to strikes. Anyway good service, price decent, driver friendly. All round great stuff.

I had a lovely taxi ride back from a day in A&E with Idrees the taxi driver. Lovely chat about life. Lovely character that left you feeling at ease. You are definitely a lucky passenger to be in the back. He’s an interesting chap:)
