Booked for 16 and our food came really quickly. Great service and staff. Very reasonable pricing! They made it a very special birthday night, especially the waiter in my picture, he was an absolute legend.

Honestly, horrible food and bad service.I usually go for Sambuca in gateshead and thought this one would be nice like that one but totally disappointed. The girl serving us was in some kind of hurry to do something, wasn't listening and no clear communication.Food was not good at all. Tried Sambuca pasta. Firstly, it wasn't cooked properly and secondly, had no taste at all.Garlic bread with tomato was okay. Potato skins were totally soft.Brownie was too small but okay and the ice cream has a very weird taste to it. They added whipped cream just to make look good but it was quantity over Quality. Not recommended at all.Not going again for sure.Beautiful location though.

I rarely think about going to Sambuca's and to be honest this was my second time but it has always surprised me with how good it is.While some of the food can be over priced for what it is, such as £12 for a pizza on its own, if you go at a time where there is a deal on like starter, pizza and coffee then the price is absolutely worth it.The garlic bread with cheese is the star of the show for me. While it's so simple, the bread is so soft and there is so much garlic butter it's delicious. If you've not been and you're after a nice, reasonably priced meal why not give it a go?

We have driven two hours to Newcastle and were starving for some good food.Had a walk around and found this restaurant. Had ordered a grilled steak and a spicy risotto with beef. The steak was grilled just right. Very juicy inside and got crispy charcoaled texture outside. The risotto has got a great Mexican flavour with assorted spices and was simply yummy. The service was good. Will definitely visit again if I’ve got a chance.

Had the 3 course set menu for £24.95 which included Rib eye steak and Salmon fillet. Beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended

Absolutely outstanding service !!We were a group of 16 people and you know how stressful it must be for people who work in hospitality because of taking payments, taking the orders etc. However, Cailey turned up smiling and very professional ensuring everyone was enjoying their food and checking constantly we needed anything else. Also, it's relevant to mention that the toilets were spot on, so clean and proper bleach which is something to shout out too. We tend to complaint when we don't like things but I think they all deserve a good shout out for the service, friendliness, nice food and hygiene.
