Always good bargains & great selection. So glad to see still present in Union Street even tho new branch now in shopping centre. Maybe a bit of lack of space to manoeuvre around shop--- tho in all honesty maybe this has more to do with my ample proportions !! Staff always so very helpful.

The Works has a wide and varied selection of items for sale at significantly reduced prices. Good for presents for all ages of friends and relations. Wide range of reading matter for all ages and at prices which one does not mind if the item gets treated badly. Books include many topics with some that only have a specialist audience but at a price which allows one to buy them simply to indulge oneself. Something for all the family and well worth a browse. Some good books and games for your holidays. You can collect points and earn discounts.
