We were given no option but to instruct Mr John Hallus to approve building works at our London flat. We paid a large fee for his services and found him uncommunicative and unhelpful when seeking his advice about our forthcoming works. He made a difficult process even harder.

We asked for a level 3 building survey report before buying a house. The report seemed very thorough, but after moving in, we realised that the surveyor had missed some fairly obvious issues (mainly plumbing and electrical work) which are now costing us a good amount of money to fix.

Excellent report, amazing customer service. I was quite insecure and confused about what I wanted and when I needed to be done. I received great support and advice from the team. Everyone was very accommodating and patient. Thank you Lauren and Julie.I requested a survey for a newly built apartment. I received a detailed report, which I was very impressed with. I also needed follow-up advice and despite of Christmas holidays, I was able to get help. Thank you Joe. I would definitely recommend this company to others and I will use them again when needed.

Mike at Hallas and Co undertook a full structural survey before we purchased our property. The work and report was thorough and detailed and Mike took us through it subsequently and helped us understand some of the more technical aspects and get a handle on any likely risks. Strong recommend.

Hallas & Co were the surveyors appointed to oversee the external redecoration project for our building. As one of the directors, I worked closely with Hallas, specifically Andy Hentschel, on the project. I found Andy to always be extremely knowledgeable and professional in all my dealings. Michael Ryan-Morrow, of Hallas, acted as our surveyor in dealing with our insurers, when we needed to make a substantial claim for fire and water damage to our Victorian house caused by a major fire of the house next door. Mike did an excellent job for us, and we recommend him very highly.
