Cant fault it! As a person who seeks that special pub to sometime go alone to, there are lovely staff and great locals and good drinks, great garden, yummy grub and actually a vibe. Which is becoming rather rare these days. Best pub so far of the current tour. Also a perfect Romantic dating pub !:)

Great food, great service, when we arrived ordered the mussels, was told out, five minutes later the waiter said yes, great service, 10 out of 10. You realy need to go here. Worth every penny. Make a point of booking a table.

We visited St Mabyn for an evening meal and drink whilst on holiday in Cornwall. We shared a very tasty sour dough and mushroom starter. We both enjoyed a lovely burger and shared a basket of tasty chips which was plenty for two.Though tasty, I did feel the ice cream sundae was overpriced at £8.The staff were friendly and the service good bearing in mind the busyness. There was a whoopsie with our starter being given to another table by mistake, but the waiter explained, apologised for his error, and it was quickly rectified without a wait.We happened to be there on a Shanty singing night, which we got involved in and had a bit of a sing-a-long. Not for everyone but we enjoyed the craic!Would happily return and recommend.

Searched on Google maps for somewhere to visit for food before our long journey home, and wow, what a find - we will definitely be back when in Cornwall. Everything was spot on, especially the food. Best pub food had in a long time, throughly enjoyed. Great pub and atmosphere and staff attentive.

Lovely country pub. Friendly welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar. We sat in the garden in the sun after a long walk from a nearby town. Food was delicious.

I visited this place twice. The service was very good. The food was excellent, especially the thai fish curry. The portions were big. They have some nice vegetarian food although there could be more options. Overall, I really enjoyed the vibe of the place.

Popped in for drinks and snacks. Lovely quirky country pub. Made to feel incredibly welcome. Every table seemed to be booked for evening meals, so must be popular. We will be trying food next time!

We arrived quite late (for Cornwall) but they still served food at 830pmLovely staff and a very nice pub.We had a starter portion of mussels and a main portion of mussels and some bacon and jalapeños loaded fries.By far the best mussels I’ve ever had, the sauce was sublime and the mussels were plentiful.Highly recommend. A lovely old pub.
