Great place for a quick lunch. Had a delicious panini (chicken, chorizo and oak smoked cheddar cheese) with home made chips. Came with a fresh mixed salad and coleslaw. This was a day's special menu, look out for them. They are always nice, only difficult is in choosing. The staff was very welcoming and nice. Will come back again, thank you very much.

If you like overdone brown hard scones (“baked fresh daily”) this is the place for you.You may also find yourself paying 60p for a little white pot of jam (not a jar).If you like paying 60p more for decaf coffee you’ll find yourself right at home.And if you love stressed waitresses who hate dealing with customers, you’ll be a repeat customer - guaranteed!**RESPONSE: I don’t hear them denying it***

As a cyclist... Drawn towards the place by the 'tour' vibe- a quick look inside at memorabilia and the friendly atmosphere bashed me on the nose combined with the great music, it made me sit and want coffee and .. inside or out? Sat in and had an outstanding Yorkshire fruit cake! Came out, truly happy and refreshed to ride the bike on.

Absolutely fabulous early lunch today - Eggs Benedict and Cheese toastie were both delicious. Extremely welcoming & friendly team of staff members ! Thank you all so much ! Such a rare pleasure these days great service great food great value!

Lovely cafe and dog friendly too. Our two were being a little too much so we decided to put them in the car so we could relax and eat without having to juggle them. Breakfast was delicious.

The ham and egg Benedict were lovely, as was the club sandwich. Scones were very nice as well. Good selection of drinks, price moderate and staff friendly.

Beautiful homely café, delicious quiche straight from the oven with homemade salads. Friendly staff, no surprise James Herriot aka Alf Wight loved the area.
