The Lamb Inn
I can't fault the location, views, or friendly welcome. The main course food was sadly rather ordinary (pie and veggie burger). The three stars were salvaged by dessert, which comes with a choice of cream, custard, or excellent local ice cream in a variety of flavours.

Lovely food at a nicely appointed pub. Prices were expensive for a Sunday roast (£15) but the food was good. Kid's food was great. Nice beer garden for the sunshine.

One of the worst roast dinners I've had and at £16.95 I was expecting a lot more. The pork meat was 50% fat and what I was left over with after trimming the fat, wasn't even good quality meat, very chewy and bland, with a few hairs in the meat to top it off, string still in the crackling. A little pot of watery cauliflower cheese that had no taste and just so much missing from a roast I.e parsnips, peas, sweetcorn, stuffing, broccoli. Just an extremely basic roast that's not worth even £10, won't be returning which is a shame as it looks like quite a nice cosy pub

Service was professional and polite but also friendly. Food was excellent quality and the views are stunning. Really nice pub/restaurant with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely recommend.

The Lamb Inn
Great pub with excellent facilities including a large garden and covered veranda, good menu if a touch on the expensive side but very dog friendly.

Lovely pub in a beautiful village. Service was great, food was great, views were great - what more could you ask for? The staff were very welcoming and friendly, not only to my partner and me, but also to our dog who was spoiled rotten with attention and treats. We will absolutely be coming back here whenever we're passing by!

The most disappointing roast dinner ever. You know you’re in for a disappointment when the meat looks like it’s come from a packet and not from a joint, the yorkshires are shaped as though from a pre-frozen packet and the gravy has clearly come straight from gravy granules with nothing else added or mixed in, i.e. with the juices from the roasted joint etc. (not surprising if there’s no joint). More disappointing than the lack of fresh cooking was the fact that the entire meal was utterly tasteless (often the case when food isn’t fresh) with the meat being extremely chewy and the leeks completely undercooked. In all a massive disappointment that I wouldn’t pay £5 per meal for let alone the £15 per meal we paid. We didn’t stick around for pudding for fear of it being a microwave desert and needless to say the dog actually ate most of the chewy meat we left! We selected this restaurant from its Google star rating and sadly the score definitely did not reflect the food experience. However the decor was good, they were dog friendly and accommodating and service was good. We were sat quickly and served very quickly. Never again!

Lovely place for lunch - great views and reasonably priced food and drinks! Will definitely visit again, they've got a sausage and cider festival in August!

The Lamb Inn
Lovely pub set in lovely surroundings.Ate twice in there, first time was the curry, second time was the basket meal menu, chilli and chips.Honest advice, stick with the basket meal option, far better value!!

A lovely little place with a FANTASTIC menu.We were working in the area and didn’t have a change of clothes, we also didn’t have a reservation on a Saturday night, yet the staff were so accommodating and didn’t batter an eyelid that we were dressed in workout wear and covered in mud.The food was truly delicious and the staff were great! Thank you for a lovely evening.Instagram: Lilfitmiss
