Floatworks Angel
Fantastic little place - was my first time floating in a pod of salty water. They sent video and info to make the journey easy.The staff were friendly and helpful.Was lovely having a room to myself, shower and hop into the pod.Would be back again! Managed to fully relax and release a lot of tensions. Some people I can image may take more to relax. Definitely not for claustrophobic people, but as a non-swimmer it was like lying in a big bath, that is warm and cosy and doesn’t get cold.

What a great experience. Physically it eased the nagging ache in my elbow. Mentally it relaxed my mind. I left floatworks and felt as if I was radiating positive energy that everyone could feel.

I have been floating for many years now and as other reviewers say - it is an amazing experience. Can't recommend it enough.So just some thoughts about this particular centre.Best to be aware of the terms and conditions on float packages or gift vouchers etc. They come with restrictions, time limits etc. Be aware or risk losing out on floats.The centre has been open a few years now and is showing some wear & tear. The room I floated in had damaged shower tray, toiletries not full and the bin was broken. The space needs some refreshment.Also and I am sure this is a one off. I would think most people come to float for relaxation. A fretting and crying baby in the chill out areas is not relaxing. The baby was there pre and post my float. A gentle policy on this would be sensible.

I had my first float yesterday and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My partner bought 2 Floatations for us to have as a lovely treat for my Birthday. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and we both loved it and will definitely book more sessions again. It's such a different feeling and the perfect way to make you relax and have that quiet time for yourself that we so often neglect to make a priority.Looking forward to the next time!

It was my first time floating. I did it with my business club, Babes on Waves. And I would absolutely do it again. My body, mind and soul needed it. It’s been two days since and I still feel the benefits. Plus, the staff were so lovely ❤️

It was my first time at Floatworks Angel, and floating in general. I’d never heard of the term and only found out about it the day before I booked in. I watched the videos on the website and YouTube videos to get familiar with it. One thing I absolutely LOVED about Floatworks in Angel was you get your own room, own pod and own private shower. Once you are fully showered and dressed, you can use the hair drying room to dry your hair and then relax with a cuppa (teapigs - they had diff flavours of teas) and chill in the relaxation room! Would defo recommend if you’re trying 1st time.I found it difficult at first to ease into the pod but once you get used to it, you can even go ahead and switch off the lights in the pod.

The cats majority of staff are courteous, informative, and kind, and the vibe is pleasant as of a spa or similar with a really pretty and soothing chill out room and included herbal teas.The pods themselves are huge and being inside one whilst initially odd is soothing and womb-like experience, with the water warmer than body temperature and the smells of the epsom salts pleasant and herbal. The rooms in which the pods reside are beautiful and clean with excellent water pressure and temperatures for pre- and post-float showers.My hearty recommendation would be to use the included ear plugs which may seem unnecessary or excessive initially but prevent you from straining your neck during the float and allow for maximal and optimal relaxation and embracing the buoyancy of the water during the float.Booking is very simple on the website but it gets very busy in the evenings prior to most people's bedtimes.

Awesome place, but quite pricey if you don't get a membership. Would highly recommend it to anyone curious to try, especially for people interested in meditation. It is a very relaxing experience, but try not to touch your face after you've entered the salty water!

Brilliant service and vibe. My first time floating was quite confusing but the staff were very helpful. Second time was a lot better and I was able to fully relax, it's a blissful experience. I still didn't hear the music at the beginning or end though but had a lovely time nonetheless.

As a member I had a chance to do a test float in their new space and it was wonderful! The location is spacious with a tasteful and clean interior design and some nice artwork. The pods are the same brand as in Vauxhall so once you get in the pod it feels the same as usual. Unlike Vauxhall, the showers are built into the rooms, which is a nice touch. (And the bodywash smells amazing!) Glad to have it close to home!
