Big Wetherspoons, there are 350 numbered tables here spread over three floors with bars on each floor. Free WiFi inside and as usual can use the App to order everything and have it brought to your table, I do like this facility. Food was good and I didn't wait long for service despite it being very busy.

Went here to meet a friend for breakfast, this is a massive pub with multiple floors; lifts are available. It’s a standard Wetherspoons as you would expect, the app is decent to allow ordering to the table and service was fast and friendly. We had the unlimited refills of hot drinks where you just pay for a mug and then refill it as much as you can.I then had the traditional breakfast but added some extra items; ordering through the app is really simple. Again the service was fast and friendly. There is free Wi-Fi available, we found the tables quite small but having asked were allowed to put 2 together. This was a massive help as we had quite a few people in our group.Based on my experience I would recommend the Wetherspoon pub for food if you want cheap, cheerful, edible but that’s where the requirements end. The amount of baked beans you get on the breakfast is really stingy, considering beans are not expensive this is a puzzle?Staff were great!

Bargain prices.. say no more, you know the score. In this day and age, you have to be savvy. First impressions, the place seemed very clean inside. Meal deals with a drink are excellent value for money. Not Michelin, star quality grub, obviously, but you get what you pay for. Frozen fish and chips, but the food was piping hot and of a generous portion. Ordered via the Weatherspoons app and drink was delivered in about 6 minutes, the food around 10. The place was pretty full, too.

Sorry, this should be the Red Lion Hotel, Doncaster, the Mile Castle ain't bad either, both Spoons! a Spoons. Loads of atmosphere. Good dining area and very large patio. Next to Market Square so very lively. Wife and I both 73 but never felt 'out of it'.

Very nice food, but can get very noisy, and most of time you can't find a table if you want to eat.

Real ale at £2.55 a pint, and the food is not bad as well. The 2nd floor has good views.

This was a fantastic pub for a drink, spanning a massive three floors! Lift makes navigation easier, counter is stylish and the design harbors Newcastle history. I enjoyed a Zombie pitcher, sitting comfortably in the second floor!

Went in for a spot of breakfast before getting a train, it was fairly quiet so didn't take too long to get our order. On a positive note it was cheap and hot, but the porridge was very stodgy (ended up adding in milk from the tea and coffee area) and the veggie sausage and egg muffin wasn't great (enough so that they didn't eat the sausage), so don't think I'd recommend it or go back any time soon - at least not for breakfast food. Also didn't help that the table we sat at had a menu that'd had something spilt on and was sticky (not the end of the world but does make you question the cleanliness).

Couldn't be bothered to microwave my own breakfast, so came here so they could microwave it for me.I think they'd started to cook the bacon at closing time the night before, it was that well done.Fun watching the various levels of hungover blokes coming inQuick friendly service

Great Spoons - I know it is part of Chain but this pub is huge and has a great atmosphere.Mixed group of customers, regulars, students, accessible all, good friendly vibe.Food is good value especially if drinks are included as part of a meal deal!Service at the bar or table via the App, Staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient.
