Nice friendly staff. My daughter and I love visiting. Comfy chairs to sit and peruse some of the finest local writing in the area before buying and supporting independent creatives. Walk by, drop in, say hello. It's that kind of place.

An Author's Perspective:Book Dragon is a bookstore that markets to independent authors, which on the surface sounds great. I jumped on the bandwagon, hoping the Book Dragon's promotional strategies (in a membership which I paid over $100 for) would help my book sell: an author bio, a book reading posted to YouTube, an author interview, etc. None of which I received in the year I had the membership. Instead, I was put in contact with four different Author Business Partners" - basically people who help promote your work from the store - and none of them did a thing to help promote my work. The book dragon are always willing to go over and above for their clients, I needed author copies of my latest book in time for an event next week, and the team at the book dragon were happy to rush an order through with their print on demand partner and I should have 20 copies by the end of this week! What a fantastic team.
